Context: Belphie has been unusually possessive of you lately and hardly ever wants to leave your side. You're getting tired of his behaviour but despite your numerous attempts to try and explain to Belphegor why his behaviour was so suffocating, the demon still doesn't get it.

(M|n) released a fatigued breath as he flopped down onto his comfy bed after what seemed like an eternity. He buried his face into the soft covers, frowning. It had been a long time since he'd slept in his own bed. He knew he shouldn't feel such immense relief, but. . . He did. . .

Ever since he admitted his feelings to Belphegor, the navy-haired demon had grown. . . More possessive of him. He wouldn't let (M|n) leave his side for even one second, and lately he had grown more harsh and abrasive towards his brothers, reprimanding them immediately even if they laid just a finger on (M|n).

The human was beginning to grow tired of Belphegor's never-ending protectiveness. He knew that the demon was just doing it out of love, but he was not aware how restricting he was slowly becoming. The demon always told him not too stray far from his side, and not to stay alone with his brothers, or he'd get mad.

(M|n) didn't expect this type of behaviour from Belphegor. . . And he didn't know how to make the demon stop. Whenever he brought up the subject that Belphie's love was becoming too suffocating, he always used the same excuse. . . "I'm doing this to keep you safe. You're mine now, and I have to protect our love at all costs. . . My brothers along with other demons are unpredictable. Who knows, they might steal you away right under my nose." (M|n) knew that the others knew better than to mess with Belphie. . . And they also knew just how much the human loved the other, they wouldn't dare hurt (M|n) by trying to entice him when they understood very well how deep (M|n)'s love had become for Belphegor. (M|n) just wished that Belphegor would understand this and would stop being so terrified that something would happen to him.

After a lot of pleading, Belphie finally relented and let (M|n) sleep in his own room for once. . . The human just wanted to sleep alone, not wanting to feel those restricting arms slowly wrapping around him and holding him tight, both when they were awake and asleep.

(M|n) could already feel the tiredness weighing heavily on his eyes. He was about to shut his eyes, and drift off to sleep, when his D.D.D. vibrated underneath his pillow. With a light groan, (M|n) picked the device up with a scowl. (M|n) knew in an instant who it was that messaged him. . . Belphie restricted who he contacted after all, unbeknownst to all the other demons in the House of Lamentation, and the angels and Solomon in Purgatory Hall.

Belphie's worries knew no bounds. . . (M|n) sighed, and read the message that had been sent to him. He shot up when he realised he could've just pretended to sleep and not read the messages. . . He was so dumb, now he'd have to answer or Belphie would not be pleased. . .

Belphie: Remember our nap together today?

Belphie: I slept so well lying next to you, (M|n).

Belphie: Now I can't sleep.

(M|n) gulped. . . No. . . He knew where this was going. He'd wanted to be alone tonight, but it was clear from the messages he was getting, Belphegor was not having it, even if he did agree.
