Context: Belphegor is jealous that his brothers always take up your time so one day he decides to just admit his feelings.

(M|n) stared transfixed at the vast expanse of ocean before him. Was this what beaches in the human world looked like, he wondered.

Back when he used to live in the human world, his parents never let him spend time relaxing. It was all about his education, which meant he never got to enjoy the more simpler things in life.

All of this changed when (M|n) was taken to the Devildom. This strict routine of his that was drilled into him no longer mattered, and he could do whatever he wanted without fear of judgement.

Not only was he free to do what he pleased the majority of the time, he also discovered that demons weren't as bad as he first thought.

Every single demon and exchange student here had a unique and lovely personality. (M|n) couldn't wait to get to know them further.

(M|n) jolted when he heard a familiar voice speak out to him gently. "You're here too, (M|n)?" Belphegor queried softly, joining him at his side. (M|n) smiled gently and nodded his head.

"I just thought I'd get some peace and quiet whilst looking over at the ocean. I never got to see a beach like this back in the human world, so I'm going to take in as much of this as I can before we have to go back." (M|n) informed Belphegor.

Belphegor sat down on the soft, cool sand. "My brothers are such a handful, and a real an annoyance sometimes, so I understand why you would want to get away from them for a while."

(M|n) stared down at Belphie before deciding to sit with him. He sat cross-legged next to Belphegor whilst continuing to stare out into the never-ending waters.

"Why are you here, Belphegor?"

💜 Belphegor's POV 💜

Belphegor had admittedly only came out here because he saw (M|n) sneaking out one of the beach houses. He didn't want anyone making advances on (M|n) whilst he was alone, and so he followed after (M|n) within the darkness.

He then waited for a while before finally making an appearance and acting like he had just got here. He pondered on what he could use as an excuse.

That was when he remembered that according to Lord Diavolo, the skies here were particularly beautiful at night. Belphie had been so distracted with keeping an eye on (M|n) that he didn't even bother to check whether Diavolo was telling the truth.

He pointed out to the skies as he looked up. "Lord Diavolo says that this area has the nicest skies and that you could see the stars of the Devildom most clearly around here. I wanted to see if it was just lies or if he was actually being serious." (M|n) chuckled softly.

"Lord Diavolo would have no reason to lie. Well, do you want to look for those stars together then anyways, since we're the only ones here?" (M|n) questioned as his eyes matched Belphie's own, looking up into the skies.

Belphegor's heart raced at the suggestion. This was the first time in ages that he got to spend time alone with just (M|n). Usually, his brothers were interfering whenever he almost got (M|n) to himself.

If he were honest, it was beginning to grow irritating that his brothers spent way more time with (M|n) than himself.

Out of them all, he was the one who spent the least time with (M|n). Belphie wanted to change that but it was difficult because (M|n) didn't mind spending time with the others. . .
