Simeon sat at his desk, looking over a few student files. According to a colleague of his, a new student was arriving at their school today. He was told that he should keep a close eye on the angel. He'd been having trouble fitting in, and issues with bullying.

Simeon felt sad whenever he thought about the angels bullying one another. You would think that knowing their species and their roles would deter them from such behaviour, alas, life wasn't as simple as that. There were many angels who held ill-intent towards others. . .

These types of angels could either grow up and grow out of such behaviour, or they would simply fall from grace.

He let out a sigh and put the papers of the students to one side. He hoped that he could get this new student accustomed to their school, and that their angels did not try to bully him.

His aquamarine orbs drifted off to the window that was next to his chair. He watched the angels outside chatting and running around on the school premises. His eyes darted around, trying to find the new face.

His eyes narrowed in an instant when he saw three teen angels cornering an angel smaller than them. The angel didn't seem at all fazed or intimidated. He just looked. . . Tired, as if he didn't care.

"That must be him." The blackette told himself. The air was chilly in the Celestial Realm these days, so he slipped on his jacket before heading out into the courtyard. His expression was stern, his lips formed a straight line.

It was rare to see Simeon behaving in such a manner. So, if any of the angels saw him like that, they instantly knew that they were in trouble. With his arms crossed tightly upon his chest, he stopped at the backs of the three angels who had already landed a fist on the poor, defenceless angel.

"Excuse me, you three. What do you think you're doing?" The angels tensed at the sound of the sharp voice. Eyes as wide as saucers turned to face him. "We are all angels, are we not? If so, why are you acting so disgracefully? You know if you continue to behave in such a manner, then you'll fall from grace." Simeon's job was to keep all angels in-line and ensure that they knew that their positions as angels were on the line whenever they behaved inappropriately.

He didn't think badly of the Devildom, having been in that exchange programme, but he had to scare the students by acting like it was the last place they wanted to be.

He disliked using this tactic, but had to use it to produce good behaviour from the angels at all times. This was something that was a part of his job that he didn't like. However, he did get to help angels. That was always his dream.

Helping angels grow and blossom into whatever roles they get passed when they're older was always Simeon's dream. And now, he had finally achieved it. He would not stop helping angels until the day came he no longer could do it.

Simeon stared at the trio until apologies began to spill from their lips.

💕 (M|n)'s POV 💕

(M|n) hadn't expected aid. Though it wasn't apparent on his face, he was just so grateful. He had become so used to the bullying that he hid his emotions inside of him. He hardly ever expressed himself anymore.
