(M|n) let out a soft whistle as he exited the jewellery store with Asmodeus in tow. The duo had spent all day in the Devildom town. Originally, their intentions had been just to window shop, but then a particular piece of jewellery on display at an expensive store caught both their eyes. Though (M|n) was reluctant to let Asmodeus pay for such a pricey item, he somehow managed to convince him that it would be fine.

Now, an expensive (s|t) (stone|type) ring sat on his index finger. (M|n) was shocked when he saw Asmodeus buying a matching pair. He wondered how the demon could spend so much grimm without even batting an eyelid.

(M|n) turned to stare at Asmo. The champagne-coloured-haired demon tilted his head when he took notice of the gaze in his direction. He smiled widely and ran to (M|n)'s side, latching onto his arm and nuzzling the tip of his shoulder.

"Why are you staring at me so much? Am I that blindingly beautiful?" Asmodeus cooed. (M|n) sighed and shook his head with a small laugh. He liked how Asmo was so confident in himself. Many others found him pompous and full of himself, but (M|n) didn't think of Asmodeus like that.

He would've if it was the first time they ever met, however, he'd gotten to know Asmo well over the last few months, and he came to realise that talking highly of himself was not the only personality trait he possessed. He had a kind and caring side to him, and had no struggle in expressing how he felt whenever they were together.

"I'm just surprised that you bought something so expensive. . ." (M|n) mumbled. Asmo pouted, suddenly gripping onto (M|n)'s upper arm a bit tighter.

"Don't think just because I bought these rings today that I throw around my grimm like that scumbag, Mammon! I just wanted to pamper you, you know? I came to realise that I hardly ever buy you nice things since you always reject my offers. . . Yet you always take Mammon's offered items willingly." Asmo grumbled sulkily.

"Well, Mammon forces the stuff he gets me onto me, so I don't even have a chance to say no." (M|n) murmured, swinging the umbrella in his hand. Lucifer had foisted it upon him before Asmodeus and he left today. The human didn't think it was going to rain, nonetheless, he took the umbrella anyway. Who knew, he could be wrong.

"Oh. . . Does that mean that I have to be more forceful with my gifts then?. . ." Asmodeus questioned with a grin. (M|n) shook his head, about to tell Asmo not to even try it when a small droplet of coldness landed on the tip of his nose. His eyes widened at the sensation. The droplet was joined by another, and soon enough, the whole Devildom sky was enveloped with dark clouds, and rain poured down upon all the demons.

"My MAKEUP!" Asmodeus screamed in horror, shielding his face a bit too late. (M|n) frowned, knowing how much Asmo cared for his appearance. He took a glance at the umbrella in his hand as the pounding rain plastered his (h|c) hair to his forehead. They could both share the umbrella, but one of them would end up getting slightly more wet than the other because the surface area of the black fabric wasn't big enough for two.

The male decided to give Asmo the umbrella. He was quick to open it, his fingers trembling from the coldness of the heavy downpour. He shoved the handle of the umbrella into Asmodeus's hands.

"(M-M|n)?" The demon stuttered as he managed to grab hold of the handle properly. (M|n) grinned as he pulled his jacket over his head.

"The House of Lamentation is close-by, so it won't take me too long to get there. You need that umbrella more than I do!" (M|n) called out. Before Asmodeus could say anything more, the human turned and ran all the way back. He sniffled as he ran. His clothes had been soaked through in just mere seconds, and his face was dripping with droplets of the cold rain. (M|n) tried to ignore the coldness and hurried back to the House of Lamentation.
