Context: You and Diavolo have been dating for six months now. For a few weeks, you decided not to visit him at his castle since he was swamped with paperwork. You finally come to the castle when you're told by Barbatos that Diavolo is almost done with his work. However, you didn't only just come to the castle so you could see Diavolo again, you. . . Wanted something else from him too. . .

(M|n) gripped the small cookie bag that was in his hands very tightly as he skipped down the hallways of the Demon Lord's castle. It had been a while since he last came here. . . Diavolo and he had been dating for quite a few months now. The first few months of their relationship was bliss. . . That was until Diavolo became bombarded with work.

He had no time to rest since he had to constantly keep working, which meant (M|n) wasn't able to come around the castle as often as he usually did. Well, Diavolo didn't explicitly tell him not to come over. The human just felt like it was a wise decision to just leave Diavolo alone. He didn't want to distract him from what he was meant to do.

The reason the human was finally over today was because Barbatos had informed him this morning that Diavolo was actually close to finishing the last of his paperwork! The moment (M|n) heard this he hurried over to Purgatory Hall so he could get Luke's help to make some sugar cookies for Diavolo.

(M|n) knew very well just how much Diavolo loved human world food. He was sure that the demon would love these cookies! After all, Luke helped him make them and ensured that they had no funny taste whatsoever. If he were really honest, Luke did the majority of the work. . . The only thing that he did was roll out the cookies and shape them. But Diavolo didn't need to know that!

(M|n) came to a halt once he was in front of Diavolo's door. He raised a clenched fist and gave a quick rap on the door. Diavolo took a few moments to actually acknowledge the noise before calling out at him to come on in.

The human couldn't help but grin widely when he saw Diavolo's handsome face which was determined as he made his way through the last bundle of paperwork. The demon didn't look up, but did address him.

"(M|n)! I haven't heard from you in forever ~" Diavolo whined. (M|n) smiled meekly and came over to the other's desk. There was no other chairs around currently so he decided to sit down on the floor. He wanted to tell Diavolo that he brought him some cookies but the demon was working so hard that he didn't want to disturb him. So, instead, he hid the cookies behind his back and just gazed at Diavolo as he worked.

He couldn't help but let a question slip. "When will you be done, Diavolo?" (M|n) queried as he stared curiously at the piece of paper that Diavolo was looking over. The redhead answered without lifting his eyes off of the page he was reading.

"In just a few minutes, I swear." (M|n) nodded his head, smiling in relief. So, it wasn't going to take too long. With a hum, the human waited expectantly for Diavolo to finish. However, the supposed minutes it would take to finish this soon dragged on into hours.

(M|n) was so bored. He didn't bring his D.D.D. with him, so he basically had nothing to do in the meantime. With a loud sigh, he laid down on the floor of Diavolo's office. He put the cookies to one side so he wouldn't crush them.

He frowned hard. Coming to see Diavolo wasn't the only reason (M|n) had come here. . . He actually wanted to ask Diavolo something. It was a question that couldn't be answered by anyone but the demon himself.
