Xavier's POV

I drove to the Almeria residence, with a duffle bag in the back seat.

Eliseo wasn't going to be happy about this, but I'll just bribe him with food and whatever music crap he likes.

I knocked on the door.

"Good evening, Mr. Yahontov."

"How are you, Marjory?"

"I'm well, thank you for asking, and you?"

"Same, I'm going to go up to Eliseo's room," I told her.

Knock, Knock

"Who is it?" He asked from the other side.

I didn't answer, knowing he wouldn't open if he heard me.

"Ugh." He grumbled.

I heard him walking towards the door and open it.

He saw me, and before he could slam the door I slipped inside.

"What do you want Xavier?"

"Just to spend some time with a friend."

"Your school friends are playing video games in the theater room."

"No, I'm talking about you silly."

"I don't have time to hang out with children."

"You are one year older than me, Eliseo."

"Such a big age difference. You want to tell me what you want?" I sat on his desk chair and watched him tune his guitar.

"As I said, I wanted to hang out."

"No, you wanted to stalk Imogen."

"So anyway, how's your music going?" I dismissed his spot-on accusation.

"It's going well."

"You play any gigs?"

"No, not really. I don't play in front of people."

Eliseo's POV

I just wanted to be alone, this was so pitiful. Just ask about her and move on.

Like I know they're engaged to be married or whatever, but it's not looking so good, especially with him buzzing around.

"She's in the gym."

"What?"

"I said she's in the gym."

"I think I've worn her out for the day. How about you play something."

"I'm good."

I was in the middle of practicing a song, for a girl. Well, not for her, I wasn't going to play it in front of anyone.

Her name was Yvonne, she works at the coffee shop down the street from one of our properties. She was beautiful, I had asked her out and she immediately said yes.

"I see that look on your face, have you met someone?"

"Kind of."

"Well go on, tell me about her."

I was going to reject, after all, it felt a bit pointless since I knew he was just using this as an excuse to get information out of me. But what could it hurt?

"This stays between us." He nodded. "Her name's Yvonne, we've been going on a few dates, and I'm starting to feel strongly for her."

"Where did you meet? Is she affiliated?"
