Angie's POV
I didn't care for Phantom of the Opera as much as I probably should have. It was a literal opera, with some amazing actors in it, but I couldn't bring myself to really love it as much I loved The Prom or Six.
So the whole week my plan was to carry out any requests, follow their plan for me, and basically just try to not get emotionally attached.
That did not work. I had absolutely no idea that freaking Sierra Bogges was the current Christine Daae.
The whole week I followed her around, learning how to sing Wishing You Were Somehow Again.
I actually got to see Phantom, and they sat me right where the chandelier had the fancy drop. I'm pretty sure I saw Sierra break character for a second when I screamed.
I really didn't make friends with anyone at Phantom, Sierra was more a mentor to me.
Then the week was over. No highlights, no lowlights. I was walking home because Sam's apartment wasn't far.
I kept having the feeling someone was following me. I turned onto a different street and texted Cat.
Angie-I think someone's following me.
Cat-Call me I'll help you out.
I called Cat.
"Hey, I'm going to talk, just start talking like we're going to meet up."
"Hey...Ally."
"Ally really?"
"So I'm almost there, but I think I'm a bit lost."
"Huh. Why don't you come over, here's my address ——-"
"No you don't have to come get me, actually I'm really lost can you."
"My mom said it's fine, because you need to not lead them to your house."
"Yes that street. Stay on the phone? Okay."
I started making my way to Cat's apartment.
"Hey Angie, my friend Ryder is staying over tonight. Is that okay?"
"Of course that's okay! Why wouldn't we get pizza!"
"So I take it it's fine."
I speed walked all the way to an apartment building where Cat was waiting in the lobby with another girl.
She hung up the phone, and we hurried into their apartment.
I saw a blur of Elle McLemore as she hurriedly locked the door, and Cat ushered us into her room.
I called my mom.
"Mommy." I whispered while Cat and the other girl, probably Ryder, left the room.
"Angie where are you?" Sam asked, panicked.
"I was followed. I'm at my friend Cat's apartment."
"Cat McLemore?"
"Yeah. Mommy I'm scared."
"It's okay baby. I'll come get you. Just give the phone to Elle."
I left Cat's room and went to Elle McLemore.
"My mom wants to talk to you." I whispered.
Cat gently led me to a couch.
"So this is Ryder Hansen." She said.
"Like Dear Evan Hansen?" I asked.
Ryder laughed. "Funny you should ask. My family's the OG Dear Evan Hansen cast. I was adopted."
"I was adopted as well. By Six." I added.
"What a coincidence that all three of us were adopted by Broadway shows, and we're all friends." Ryder said.
"We're all friends?" I asked. I've never had many friends my age.
"Of course. You look like you could use some more people to support you." Cat and replied.
So we waited for Sam to come get me.
Sorry this chapter sucked. Also, Ryder Hansen is Isle_of_Spaceheaters OC. Go check out that story. I really didn't have any ideas for Phantom of the Opera, so instead Angie was almost kidnapped. Bye!
