Angie's POV
Gripping my mother's locker tightly, Mallory carefully took me out of the locker and closed it, and locked it with the key. We went back to the theatre, where I went into the dressing room and didn't come out. That night I was asleep before seeing who was staying with me.
In the morning, I found it had been Mallory to stay with me.
"Samantha's going to be back soon. She went to get some breakfast." She informed me, seeing as I was awake. "We took shifts to see if you needed anything last night and we both fell asleep. Are you okay Angie?"
"You mind if I go onto the stage?"
"No of course not hon. I'll call you back when Sam's back."
I found my way through backstage and emerged onto the set of one of my favorite shows. There was a keyboard, which I didn't know how to play, but I sat beside it.
I felt like singing something. I didn't have a microphone. Mallory wouldn't be able to hear me. I've never sang for anyone before. I've also never revealed my sexuality as pan.
It was quiet, so I hummed something under my breath for a bit. It eventually evolved into Heart of Stone, then All You Wanna Do. Then suddenly I was belting out All You Wanna Do, practically shouting it, not even caring, because I felt so connected to this song especially.
Then in the corner of my eye I saw Mallory and Samantha with their jaws wide and my voice faltered.
I stopped, as they came up to me. "You can sing!" Cried Mallory.
"You're gonna give me a run for my money!" Samantha added.
I blushed. "I'm not that good."
They smiled. "Agree to disagree." Samantha said. "I picked this up for you." She handed me an iPhone twelve box.
"I'll pay you back." I promised.
"No need. I'm the secondary owner of your account, because you're a minor." Samantha explained.
I opened the box, and after about half an hour, all the data I could salvage from my broken phone was transferred onto my new phone.
Samantha gave me the cast's phone numbers, and I created Instagram and Tik Tok profiles.
A little while later, when the cast was all here, I got notifications that they all followed me.
After I'd been staying in the theatre for about a month, the queendom had seen me in Instagram lives, and on individual posts and on Instagram stories, and were circulating theories about who I was.
Today was the second time I was seeing Six. Except this time, instead of Mallory filling in for Abby, the main cast was all here.
I cried when I heard Abby sing Heart of Stone, cheered extra loud when Anna sang the high note in I Don't Need Your Love, and when Samantha got her happy ending in Six, and laughed when Andrea accidentally tripped in the final dance break and pointed at me.
"New York do you want one more song?!" Samantha yelled. "Then stay on your feet! Hit it Maria!"
"New York clap your hands!"
"Get your phones out you gonna want to film this!"
"And most importantly get ready to dance!"
"Hey!"
Unknowingly, I was following along with the choreography, to the point where when Brittany leaned down over the edge of the stage, she grabbed my hands and yanked me up onto the stage.
