One Yearish Later...

So I'm speeding things up, but don't worry I plan on having this book ending at like maybe 40+ chapters. This is when Angie has her license, Broadway Academy is open, and don't kill me but Sam has left Six. I'm going to have flashback chapters, because in a yearish we've missed a lot of family moments.

Angie's POV

The bell rang and I stood up from my desk and was quick to get to my locker.

Broadway Academy was open for its first semester. It'd taken the rest of the school year and the whole summer, but it was amazing. It was one building so far, and plans were already underway for a second building to be added, because there was a building across the street that has been put on the market.

Classes were taught by regular teachers, but it wasn't odd to see current Broadway stars wandering the halls after teaching a class.

The past year was amazing, I was almost seventeen, because according to hospital records, my birthday wasn't in the summer it was May third.

I really hate my father.

I got my license a month ago, but I don't use it often because there isn't a lot of opportunity in the city.

Sam left Six, and was in between roles at the moment, but she's been auditioning for less shows lately, because of her job at my school as a vocal coach.

Bianca couldn't transfer to Broadway Academy, her parents wouldn't let her, but Caleb did. He's my rock, keeping me sane.

And lucky him, he's got colleges lining up to ask him to consider them. Yes, he has performing arts colleges asking him. Lucky bastard.

I on the other hand, do the occasional paid role, but I mostly focus on school. Taylor has been really understanding about that.

And Janelle and I celebrated our one year anniversary not to long ago. I'm very lucky to have such a supportive girlfriend.

And Marco and Caleb are still dating too! They're so cute.

I met Valerie Salazar-Roland and her girlfriend Reed through Cat. And Ryder introduced me to her girlfriend Brooklyn. We triple date a lot. (Valerie and Reed are the OCs of my good friend Em, chaoticgeekery and Brooklyn is my good friend Isle_of_Spaceheaters OC we still gotta plan that triple date!)

So anyway, I was really surprised when I walked into my musical theatre class today and my teacher Miss Johnson was beaming and bouncing on her toes.

"Class," she began once everyone was seated, "I'm very pleased to announce that we're doing our school musical...on a Broadway stage! And to top it all off, we're doing Into the Woods!"

Okay, may I just say that Bianca got me hooked on Into the Woods, and On the Steps of the Palace really adds depth to Cinderella's character and I would really want to be able to put my own spin on such a classic princess.

So yeah. I guess I'll audition for Into the Woods.
