You Must Think That I'm Crazy

Angie's POV

So, I did see the car, I did know that I was going to get hit. I let it happen. I just don't know why.

But moving on, today's the first day of school.

I was all healed, the crash was behind me.

I kissed Matt's cheek, and gave Sam a hug before quickly heading out to Caleb's apartment.

He greeted me with a, "Yas queen!" And some snaps as he looked at my outfit choice of doc martins and black leggings.

I like doc martins if you can't tell.

We had left early to meet up with Bianca at Starbucks, then take the subway to school.

We took selfies, then grabbed coffee and quickly ran to catch the right train.

At MAPA, we found our way to the office, where we were able to get our schedules and found out where our lockers were.

"Bianca! Our lockers are so close together!" I cried.

"Ange! I'm right across the hallway from you!" Caleb squealed.

"Fun and all, but if we want to catch morning assembly we gotta bounce." Bianca said.

We were quick to shove our stuff in our lockers and find our way to the auditorium.

We found seats by each other and sat down to learn about the school year.

"Hello future stars! I'm Principal Madison James, and I'm honored to announce that we have taken in what we hope to be out most talented class yet. For those of you who are new, here at MAPA, your school schedules change depending on if you get jobs, like at a ballet company or if you get a role in a play. So if there's ever a conflict just take it up with the head of schedules Mrs Ean. Our job here is to mold you all into future stars. We have assembly every morning, so make sure to catch that if you need the announcements. Go shine!"

Bianca and I both had dance 2 first. Caleb was on the other side of the school for economics.

Once arriving at the dance studio, I noticed how remarkably similar MAPA's social hierarchy was to a normal school.

You had the different groups which you can tell were higher or lower on the food chain.

Bianca and I just decided to smile and make it through the day.

"So, the new kids." A girl with blonde hair and green eyes smiled and twirled a piece of hair as she looked at us. "My name is Clarissa. I'm a future pop star. You?" She gave us a questioning pouty look.

"I'm going to be an actress." Bianca said, very matter of factly.

"As am I. Maybe you've heard of my manager, Taylor Louderman?"

Clarissa scoffed. "No. Samantha Pauly's kid, you know, the internet famous one, is the one with Taylor Louderman as her manager."

I scrunched my eyebrows and held up my Instagram. "Yeah. That's me."

No one else bothered us for the rest of the day.

At musical theatre class, they announced the school musical.

"Hi students! I'm Ms Tart, but you can all call me Ms Summer. Today, I'm very happy to announce the school musical will be Ragtime!"

I've heard of Ragtime.

"If you've never heard if it, it's okay. You can Google it."

After an intense five minute Google search, I was hooked.

"Auditions are after school tomorrow! I can't wait! Go ahead and spend the rest of the period working on your auditions, here are the scenes you'll have to read."

Caleb and I turned to each other to work on auditions.

"I want to be Houdini." He decided.

"I'm torn. The part of Mother sounds amazing, but at the same time Emma Goldman is a really good character."

"I think you'd make a good Mother."

It was settled.

"Okay then. Although her storyline is crazy."

Go ahead and Google Ragtime if you already haven't. It's a really good musical, so please look into it!
