Maria Hill spoke to Coulson the day before and told him about Mia, or rather Kaylin. She told him about the fact that she didn't know them anymore and worked at a school. She also told him that Dr. List got away and was on the run.

In return, Coulson told Maria about Loki's scepter being in the hands of Hydra and that it was somewhere in Sokovia. Maria gathered the Avengers and made plans to attack the facility. They had a talk about the Mia-situation, but Loki's scepter was more importantly for them at the moment. Besides, they had to find a way to make Mia remember them again.

"So, like I told you, the scepter is inside this facility and it's well guarded." Maria told the superheroes. "The Hydra agents are scattered around the building and I believe there're more inside of it."

"Clean the field and storm the building. Got it." Tony wanted to walk away but Steve stopped him.

"We need a plan." He said. "Otherwise, we might end up injured and without the scepter."

"I've got a plan." Tony told him. "We attack those squids and if they stay nice, I won't kill them."

"Fair enough for me." Natasha chimed and Steve threw it on emotions. He believed that Tony was handling on the emotions of Mia not recognizing him. The emotions of having to miss her for a year.

"Let's just go." Steve said and they climbed in a Quinjet. "See you back with the scepter." He told Maria and they flew to Sokovia.

Hydra Research Base
Location: Sokovia

In Sokovia, Kaylin was training with Dr. List and Strucker. They wanted to see what the injection they gave her did, but since they injected her, she hadn't shown any kind of new ability. Kaylin had slept for a whole day, but nothing came out of it.

Kaylin punched the wall and shattered a few bones in her hand. Nonetheless, she went on with her training. She bit through it and wanted to show that nothing could stop her, not even a few broken bones. Besides, she didn't feel the pain of the broken bones, at all.

"That's enough." Strucker spoke up. "I have a meeting."

Kaylin walked away from the wall and walked over to him. "About what?" She asked him, but before he could react the building started to tremble.

"What's happening?" Strucker muttered annoyed and the three of them ran to the tech-team upstairs. Kaylin saw her children standing towards the side and joined them. She threw her arms around them and kept them close.

"Report to your stations immediately." Strucker's voice was heard on the PA. "This is not a drill. We are under attack!"

The twins grabbed each other's hands and looked afraid at their mom.

"What's going on?" Wanda asked.

"I don't know, sweetheart. I don't know." Kaylin replied. She let go of her children. "Let me talk to your dad." She walked up to Strucker and asked him.

"Avengers." He growled back.

"Can they get in?" Kaylin asked him.

"No, we have a force field." Strucker walked up to one of his technicians and left Kaylin alone. She returned to the corner her kids were standing in and filled them in on the situation.

"Can they hold them?" Pietro asked and Kaylin shrugged. She didn't know. This was her first time getting so close to those so called 'heroes'.

Strucker was yelling instructions and all the rest could do was wait. Wait until they got an order.
