"Welcome, Doctor Goodman," Kaylin said politely.

"Yeah, yeah. Can we get this over with? Where's the work space?" Doctor Goodman asked as she put on some blue gloves.

"Right behind me. I'll give you some space. Agent Hill, follow me please." Kaylin walked to the door and Hill followed. Behind them the two doctors started arguing about the project.

"Why do you need me?" Hill asked once they closed the door.

"Fury needs you back in New York. He said something about the council," Kaylin explained.

"Great, I'll have to deal with that too," Hill sighed. "Please stay out of their way. Goodman wasn't very happy when I picked her up and I doubt that will change anytime soon."

"I promise, Hill. I just hope Coulson's body won't reject the treatment."

"We all do. I'll see you later, I guess," Hill took Kaylin in a hug, which surprised her but she returned the gesture.

"Save travel," Kaylin said and Hill went outside. Kaylin took her place behind the security cameras and grabbed her phone. With the limited service she reached in the Guesthouse, she could still call and play some games.

She opened a block puzzle game and played it for some time until her battery died.

"Hey Alpha, you guys have someplace to charge my phone?" Kaylin asked the agent next to her.

"Yeah, in the room behind the bunks," he replied and Kaylin stood up. She walked past the TAHITI room and heard the doctors talk about the MOM. About what memory they should put in Coulson after they are done.

Kaylin chose to ignore the hushed voices and walked to the room next to the bunks. She touched the walls in search of a light switch and when she found one she saw in what room she stood.

The room had multiple cabinets with bottles in which different colors were noticeable. She saw a bottle which said GH.323 and one which said Test.

"Why keep it if it didn't work?" She asked out loud.

"Because then we can compare it with the new ones," a female voice behind her said.

Kaylin turned around to see Doctor Goodman standing behind her. "Oh, hey, can I help you with something?" Kaylin asked her and Goodman shook her head.

"No, I just needed the bottle with GH.325," Goodman said and picked up the bottle behind Kaylin.

"How. . . how is—" Kaylin tried to make a sentence but couldn't find the words to make one.

"How's Coulson?" Goodman asked. "We're just starting the injection but for now it's looking good."

"Oh, thank the gods," Kaylin said, relieved and started breathing again. She didn't even know she stopped.

"I'll let you know when something major happens," Goodman walked out again and Kaylin saw an outlet. She put her charger in it and waited for her phone to go on again.

"There you are," she said when her screen lit up. She pushed in the code and saw a few calls from her girlfriend. Kaylin decided to call back.

"Kaylin? Hey, how was the flight?" Kinsley asked.

"Not too long. How are you?"

"I found a job!" Kinsley said excitedly.

"Great, where did you sign up?" Kaylin asked with interest.

"A research lab. It's quiet and looks very lovely."

"A research lab? I didn't know you could do that?" Kaylin was thunder-struck. She didn't know her girlfriend had that kind of education.
