The weather was amazing and the two women who stayed at the cottage decided to go for a stroll through the forest. They were laughing and admiring every bit of green. The sun shone bright on their faces and Mia wouldn't had it any other way.

“Here.” Maria pulled her fiancée behind her to a small, open area and put the basket down. “This is a perfect spot.”

The two of them wanted to go for a picnic before they'd leave their temporary home for a road trip through the rest of Europe. They'd planned it all very well to see all the beauty Europe had to offer. It was a long time dream of Mia to see the world, but work always got in the middle of it.

Yes, S.H.I.E.L.D. made her travel, but she wouldn't stay long in one place. She got to go somewhere to do a job – to spy – but she never really saw the places she went. Now, she could.

Maria and Mia made everything ready for them to sit and eat in the sun. They laid out a blanket for them to sit on and took out food and water from the basket.

The forest noises were calming and Mia closed her eyes while leaning on her lower arms. The sun shone over her face and tickled her cheeks. The warmth gave her peace, but the peace didn't last.

Behind Mia her closed eyes, a horror show appeared. She saw a man with a smirk storming after her with a knife. Mia didn't know what to do other than fight back and she killed him.

“Mia!” Maria yelled and shook her fiancée’s body. “Wake up, M!”

Mia her eyes shot open and she breathed heavily. She didn't even know she fell asleep.

“What happened?” Maria asked. “I called your name a few times, but you didn't respond. You caused an earthquake.”

The red head shook her head to fully wake up. She hadn't made an earthquake in over a month. What was different now?

“Nightmare?” Mia mainly asked. “I don't know. I thought I was enjoying the sun, but the next second, I was trapped in a dream.”

“What was it about?” Maria asked worried.

“I killed someone.” Mia told her. “Before you ask, no, I don't know who. I don’t know where and I don’t know why.”

The brunette didn't know how to respond so, she just took her fiancée in her arms. She kissed Mia's hair and sighed. Maria had no idea what was going on in the red head's head, but she would give away her life to help the woman.

Mia was thinking about the dream. It felt like a memory or a picture made by the horrors Hydra made her do. She didn't know which. Hell, with everything that happened, it could be a vision…

Mia came to the conclusion that she still missed parts of her past. She went back to the moment Hydra captured her and she went over the things that happened after. She found out that there was still something missing there. That she didn't had it all back.

“I think that I don't have all my memory back.” Mia spoke up.

“What made you say that?” Maria asked confused.

“I was gone a year the first time, right?” Mia sat up. “I only remember maybe seven months. And three are from the high school. I still miss two months and I think those are the first two months I was gone.”
