New Avengers Facility
Location: New York

For four months, Mia has laid low. She was discharged from the hidden S.H.I.E.L.D. facility, known as the Playground, within a month, but she still didn’t trust herself.

Daisy had tried to help Mia control her powers, but neither knew how to keep Mia from making an earthquake while she slept.

Every night, Mia had nightmares. Nightmares about herself hurting people, or the ones she held close dying. She screamed in her dreams, but she also screamed out in reality, which made earthquakes.

Mia hadn't slept for weeks. She was too scared to make another earthquake happen. She just wanted her normal life back, but Vision still had no idea how to get rid of the extra's Hydra gave her.

When February came, Maria hadn't left Mia alone. She didn't even leave the containment room when night fell or when she was needed back at the facility. It was the first time in months, that Mia actually slept. Not much, but she slept.

Mia got more rest and she learned how to deal with her nightmares. Writing everything down seemed to help the most and talking to her girlfriend also did the trick.

In March, Mia finally got to go back home and she knew how to not make earthquakes. The nights were still pretty restless, but it was better than it used to be.
Hydra really messed Mia up and she hated it.

Luckily, Coulson and his team dealt with a lot of Hydra things in the months that Mia tried to get herself and her life back together.

He had told Mia about the new stuff he learned about what Hydra did to her. So did Coulson tell Mia that Hydra didn't intend to gave her more than one power, but the Mind Stone had its own free will. The mind reading was all she was suppose to get and the earthquakes were the Stone's doing.

Now that it was May, Mia was tasked with small tasks within the Avengers. She helped on patrols and even helped with the training of the new recruits, especially helping Natasha with teaching Wanda how to use accents.

Steve also asked for help in a missing person's case, which Mia was happy to do. She loved searching for people on her computer, it was what she did most of her time at S.H.I.E.L.D. anyways, when she was running her own secret investigation.

Mia was sitting behind her laptop in the canteen. She ran a lot of programs that were searching for a six feet tall male with dark hair and a metal arm. He was once spotted in a museum, but that was a year ago. He could be everywhere in the world right now.

Mia sipped from her coffee cups and checked the programs again. She sighed when there wasn't a hit and started another for something else.

Mia wanted to go back to her own investigation. She knows that Hydra knew about it, but she still had no clue what they knew. Her memory of the day she was kidnapped hadn't returned and it was frustrating her.

“Why can't I find anything!” Mia let out in frustration.

“Find anything one what?” A young, female voice spoke up from the doorway.

Mia looked up to see her daughter walking up to her and smiled at the girl, “I'm helping Steve, but my programs won't deliver what I need. And great job on the American accent.”
