Grant Ward's Hydra Warehouse
Location: Classified

Mia walked with Ward through the warehouse. The new recruit was coming in today and Ward wanted protection. He knows what Strucker did to Mia and knew that she would help him if he could control her; which he does.

The two entered a floor where multiple Hydra agents were working on their latest plans. Everywhere people were walking.

A door opened and a car came driving in.

"You'll stay hidden until I call out." Ward told Mia as he pointed at a pillar a few feet ahead of him. "Don't make yourself known."

Mia nodded and walked to the pillar. She stood behind it and closed her eyes. That way, Mia could hear every sound better and she wouldn't have to move.

"So... this is the new guy?" Ward spoke up.

"Yeah." Kebo replied. "Turn around, Richy."

"Yeah, Richy." Ward mocked. "Turn around. Why so shy?"

"My name isn't Richy..." A familiar voice said. "...Director."

Gunfire began and Mia waited for her signal. As long as Ward didn't use her codename, she wasn't suppose to come out.

"Director, get to cover!" An agent yelled and Mia opened her eyes to see what was happening. She caught a glance of a person in an Adidas vest who hid behind a table.

"Check the perimeter. Look for S.H.I.E.L.D. reinforcements." Ward instructed Kebo.

"I got nothing!" Kebo told Ward. "Not a man, not a vehicle in sight."

Ward signaled for all the agents to circle around for he looked at where Mia was hidden and gestured for her to wait. He didn't want his best weapon to be used already.

"Come on, Hunter." Ward spoke up. "You weren't actually dumb enough to come here all cowboy, were you?"

"Sorry, this coming from the guy who shot his own girlfriend by mistake?" Hunter asked back and Mia raised her eyebrow. He did what now?

"I was hoping you'd be dead and Bobbi would be coming for me." Ward said back. "At least that rematch would have been more even."

"Hardly." Hunter spoke. "I heard it took two of you after hours of torture."

"Yeah," Ward yelled over his shoulder, "lesson learned. Should have rigged the door with a grenade."

More gunshots were fired and Mia felt the presence of someone else enter her mind. The thoughts of said person were more complex, but very easy to hear. She knew it was a woman and that she was not happy to be there.

The gunshots didn't stop and Mia could hear footsteps coming closer.

"May, is that you?" Ward asked a bit afraid. "Because that would be great." He pointed at Kebo and silently asked him to call for backup. "I mean, I was hoping to hold out for a little while longer."

After a short silence, the gunshots continued and Ward nodded at Mia. She creeped around the pillar she was hiding behind and looked around the room. She spotted a male to the right of her, Hunter, and a female to the left, May. Mia decided to go right and walk around Hunter.
