End Part 2

Hydra Siberian Facility
Location: Siberia

Mia, Barnes and the two Avengers walked through the Hydra facility. They were aware of every sound and Mia could hear everyone thinking different things.

Steve was thinking about what he might find behind the doors they approached.

Barnes thought about what could happen if Zemo said his words again.

Tony thought about what happened and how things would go on, but also what he might find.

And lastly, Mia. She thought about everything. All that happened, all that might happen.

One thing Mia didn't understand, was that there was another presence. Not Zemo, who she could hear in the distant, thinking about how his plan is working. But another one. She couldn't get behind a block in that person's mind, but she knew someone was there.

"I got heat signatures." Tony spoke up when they rounded a corner.

"How many?" Steve asked.

"One." Tony answered surprised.

They entered a room where lights went on and Mia felt the shift in Barnes demeanor. She looked in his mind and saw horror. She saw him in that particular chair in the middle of the room. She felt how scared and hurt the Soldier was and grabbed her head.

"Jarvis?" Steve asked concerned.

"She was in my head." Barnes spoke up. "I felt her there."

"Are you okay?" Tony asked and placed a hand on her shoulder.

Mia just nodded. She couldn't speak. She felt the pain, but she also felt the emotions Barnes went through when he saw the chair. It tired her slightly.

"If it's any comfort," Zemo's voice was heard over the speaker, "they died in their sleep."

Mia looked up to the orange tubes and saw each Soldier with a bullet between their eyebrows.

"Did you really think I wanted more of you?" Zemo went on.

"What the Hell." Barnes let out.

"I'm grateful to them, though." Zemo said. "They brought you here."

A light went on and all four of them turned to the man who was wearing a smirk, Zemo.

He looked at every one of them and Mia tried to get in his mind again, but the glass wall he was standing behind prevented that from happening.

Steve threw his shield, Tony blasted a small rocket and Barnes emptied his gun, but non was effective.

"Please." Zemo mocked. "The Soviets built this chamber to withstand the launch blast of UR-100 rockets."

"I'm betting I could beat that." Tony spoke up what made Mia roll her eyes. Even when they are in a dangerous situation, he always has to make a joke.

"Oh, I'm sure you could, Mr. Stark." Zemo looked at him. "Given time. But then you never know why you came."

"You killed innocent people in Vienna just to bring us here?" Steve asked while he walked up to the glass.

Zemo searched the man's face. "I've thought about nothing else for over a year." He said. "I studied you. I followed you. But now that you're standing here... I just realized... there's a bit of green on the blue of your eyes. How nice to find a flaw."
