"Transport Six-Six-Bravo, please relay confirm codes." A female voice came through the radio. "I've got you on the computer, but not on the day log. What's your haul? Over."
"Arms and ammunition. Over." Kaylin replied with a smirk. She gave Barton a nod and he started preparing himself for the breakout. The other agents followed his lead. "Let's go, boys."
Barton pushed on the button to open the hangar door while Kaylin steered the Quinjet to the right, so he could have a clean shot at one of the air screws. He pulled the bowstring back and breathed out. Barton let the string go and the arrow made a nice curve towards its target.
"Now I get the Hawkeye thing." Kaylin joked and she let the plane move out of the way for the explosion that followed.
"Really, just now?" Her colleague asked.
"Sorry, Barton, but I haven't had much time to look at your moves." Kaylin replied. "You can go in now by the way."
"Stay put." He instructed, and jumped off the plane. Kaylin cloaked the Quinjet and watched as the other agents entered the Helicarrier. She then contacted Dr Selvig on the Stark Tower. "Is it working?"
"Warning would be nice, but yeah I think I can manage up here. It's going to take some time though." Selvig replied. The wind brushed through the radio which made it hard for Kaylin to hear what Selvig said.
"Did I startle you?" She asked, amused.
"A little. How's the escape going?"
"Barton just went in. You get the portal ready, Doc." Kaylin put the communicator down and looked at the engine of the Helicarrier that was still burning. That's when she saw something flying around in the air. "Shit," she muttered and used the comms system to talk to Barton. "Clint, be careful. They know."
"I know." He responded and a few fighting noises came through. "We need help. Can you find a landing place?"
"I can try." Kaylin looked at the deck of the Helicarrier and spotted a clear space. "Got one. Where do you need me?"
"Third floor." Batron grunted, sounds of fighting still coming through.
Kaylin put down the engines and opened the hanger. 'Well, here comes the fun', she thought and ran out onto the deck of the Helicarrier.
That's when she saw Captain America standing next to a red lever.
"Oh hell no." Kaylin spoke to herself, and walked over to him. "Clint, I have to make a detour. Cap is close to repairing the engine." She put her hair up and a mask over her head.
"Just, be careful." Barton sounded worried and Kaylin began to run. On her way a few agents tried to stop her but she knocked them out pretty easily.
"Thank you, Romanoff." Kaylin smirked as she used some moves the Black Widow taught her in her early days of field operations.
"Thomas, where are you going?" An agent asked her.
She found his voice familiar and recalled that he was on the Quinjet with her, so she pointed at Cap. "He needs to be stopped." She explained.
The agent followed her down to the Captain and threw a grenade. Cap jumped towards it and smacked it down into open air, where it exploded. Cap jumped down on their level and knocked the agent out. Kaylin started shooting but Cap had grabbed the gun of the agent on the floor and shot back.
"Damnit, Steve." Kaylin grunted as she ducked out of the way.
"Agent Thomas?" Cap asked and lowered his gun. This gave Kaylin free rein and she shot again, but she missed.
