Mia ran to where she last saw Wanda with Maria on her heels. A loud crack was heard and they ran even faster than they were.

When Mia ran into the kitchen area, a large gap was in the ground and Wanda was no where to be seen.

“Damnit!” Mia let out and punched the wall next to her. “That hurt.”

“That's because you hit a wall.” Maria deadpanned.

“Yeah, I didn't know.” Maria was in no mood for jokes. Her daughter was gone and she could only guess why and by who. “There's only one person who would use the vents to get in somewhere.”

“Clint.” Maria nodded and turned on her heels to find a laptop.

“Mia!” A pained voice came from beneath the gap.

Mia looked down and saw Vision fly up.

“Vision?!” Mia said surprised. “Who did that to you?”

“Wanda.” Vision groaned when he landed on the floor. “Barnes took her to Rogers.”

“Damnit, I knew they were going to fight.” Mia turned around and walked over to the sink. “Why use kids?!” She mumbled while getting a glass of water.

“I need to stop them from doing something drastic.” Vision flew towards Mia. “Do you know where they are?”

“Germany was the last place I saw Steve.” Mia told him. “Please, don't hurt Wanda.”

“Never.” Vision said before leaving the building and going after Wanda and Clint.

Mia walked through the compound and found Maria in her office with her phone against her ear.

“I don't care. They're going to fight each other.” Maria yelled to the person on the other end. “You are in Europe, do something.”

“Wow,” Mia began when the brunette put the phone down. “Who was it?”

“Fury.” Maria told her. “He's in Europe, he better do something.”

“Agreed.” Mia nodded.

“What did you find out?” Maria asked her girlfriend.

“Wanda pushed Vision into the Earth and left with Clint.” Mia repeated what Vision told her.

“So, he really decided to drop the whole retirement-thing.” The brunette stated. “Any idea on what to do next?”

Mia took a seat in a chair and shook her head before placing it in her hands. “None,” she said. “I just wish they'd talked for once in their lives before fighting.”

It pained Maria to see her girlfriend so conflicted. Not knowing what to do next or how to keep things from getting worse than they already are. The brunette knew she had to try and calm Mia down before even the redhead was going to make a mistake she, most likely, will regret.

“M,” Maria began while squatting down, “I know that you're beating yourself up for this.” It's what Mia always does. “But it's not your fault. Everyone is just thinking about what they think is right. What you need to do is look at yourself. Look at the options you have and choose the one you feel is the right one and act on it. Screw the Accords.”

Mia looked up at her girlfriend and stared into her blue eyes. The calmness that came from them gave Mia some time to think and stay calm herself. The blue eyes of Maria always had that effect.
