Mia is talking to Fury in the hallway about Coulson. Today was the day he will get his team and agent Hill was gathering them.

“Will he be able to do this? He was dead for almost a week.” Mia asked.

“That’s why you're going to be there, agent Jarvis.” Fury replied and they walked towards the security room.

“Yes, but I can't help but wonder…” Mia said. “What if I can't do anything? What if he dies, again, and this time he won't come back?”

“Director.” An agent nodded towards Fury. “Agent Jarvis.” He nodded towards Mia.

“Agent Smith.” Fury nodded back and he walked over to the screens with security cameras. Mia looked at them and saw agent Coulson, commander Hill and another agent walking to a sealed door. She could only assume it was agent Ward.

“May I?” Mia asked a woman behind a computer. She nodded and Mia took the headphones. She looked again at the cameras and saw Coulson walking to the scanner.

“Say cheese!” Mia mockingly said and she saw Coulson smiling before he showed his badge. The glass doors opened and the trio walked further.

“Agent Jarvis, you may go downstairs and join them.” Fury said. “I'll see you in a week.”

Mia gave back the headphones and left the room to search for her best friend.

“I think it's time they succeeded.” Mia could hear Coulson say when she entered the room. Silently she stood behind agent Hill and she wasn't noticed, yet.

“You want me to cross them off?” The dark-haired, to Mia unknown, agent asked. He looked at Hill and saw Mia behind her. He got a confused look on his face but shook it off.

“Wow. No.” Coulson responded. He stepped towards the agent and shared a look wit Hill.
“I wanna use them to get to him.” Coulson said.

Mia looked at the screen and saw the man she gathered the intell from for Fury. She didn't exactly spoke to the guy but she got the intell from The Rising Tide. It gave her flashbacks to her past with that group. It shocked her to see how far they'd come.

“This man's world is about to get very weird. He's gonna need some help.” Coulson finished and the man before him looked at the screen again.

“I'm sorry. I was trained from day one as a specialist. I go in alone, I get it done.” The man began. He was declining the opportunity to help the world get safer.

“Defusing a nuclear bomb, I’m your guy. A welcoming committee? Not my speed.” He ended and looked at Coulson with a sorry-face.

“I told you.” Mia spat out. The three agents spun around to face her and she smiled back to them.

“Agent Jarvis.” Hill smiled too and she took a step aside so Mia could join the conversation.

“I told you he wouldn't want to help.” Mia said again and she looked at the said man. She checked him and saw him getting nervous.

“I know it's not what you want.” Agent Coulson said to the man. “Agent Hill did a very detailed assessment of your last three missions. Combat, top grades. Espionage, she gave you the highest marks since Romanoff. Under people skills, she drew a…” Coulson was looking for the right word.

“Let me see.” Mia asked and Coulson leaned to the right so Mia could look over his shoulder.

“A porcupine?” She looked at Hill's face and Hill nodded.
