After Mia was abducted by Hydra, nothing is as it was. She finds herself back at the beginning, but with a twist.
Mia's life has changed and she's a schoolteacher now. She has no memory of anything that had to do with her life at S.H.I.E.L.D. and so, she has no idea she was a part of the organization before it fell.
Her old colleagues and friends try everything in their power to get their friend back and that leads to complications. The already present rivalry between them is not helping.
Nonetheless, Mia finds herself back in action.
