S.H.I.E.L.D. facility
Location: Classified

Mia Jarvis was at the facility's secret deck to look at how the new project was coming. Fury had a plan for a new plane that he wanted to call the Bus. It should be more advanced than the Quinjets but without the cloaking.

"Agent Jarvis, can you take a look at this?" One of the engineers asked and he beckoned her to come inside.

Mia had told Fury that she changed her name back to the one her parents gave her and he changed it in the servers. Now everyone knows Mia her real name but that doesn't take away that people find it weird or hard to get used to it; especially Coulson.

"What's wrong?" Mia stepped inside and followed the engineer to the build-in lab. He stood behind the Holotable and pushed a button. It was supposed to go on but it didn't.

"It won't start. Maybe there's a malfunction somewhere but we can't find it." The man explained and Mia checked every cable but saw nothing wrong.

"I see nothing." Mia said and pushed the buttons again. "How's the flight system?" She was walking around the table to find the source and trying to start a conversation at the same time.

"We've added a VTOL so it can take off and land vertically."

"That's clever." Mia added. "Who's behind the steer right now?"

"That would be agent Hill." Mia nodded.

"Maybe it's problem is in the cockpit." She suggested. "If the wiring is not good there, that might be the cause."

Mia left the lab and started walking to the stairs.

"And where in the cockpit?" The engineer followed Mia upwards, eager to learn what he did wrong.

Ever since everyone knew about Mia and her history with the Starks, she nearly became head-engineering. All of the men wanted her opinion and some of the women too, even though those never truly admitted such thing. But Mia declined such part in the facility. She wanted to stay an undercover agent and find secrets where one might think to bury and never find back.

"Have you checked the encrypted line?" Mia walked inside the cockpit and greeted agent Hill.

"How come they asked you?" Hill asked mockingly.

"Because they need someone with my expertise." Mia answered with a smile and she opened the little door behind the fuse box. One look at the wires was enough to know they were mixed-up and it looked a mess.

"Oh, I see." She said. "Those wires have been installed wrong." Mia ripped out the wires and replaced them the right – and neat – way.

"It should work now." She closed the fuse box and turned to the engineer, who nodded in thanks.

"Ready for take off?" Hill asked and Mia sat down beside her. "I need to test this system."

"Buckle up." Mia said to the engineer and he did so. Agent Hill clicked on the buttons she needed and pulled the engine lever. The plane took off vertically and flew a small circle around the facility.

"It actually worked." The engineer cheered. He was happy to see that the new VTOL-system worked the way he wanted to.

"What'd you expect?" Hill asked. "You had agent Jarvis at your disposal. She did the most here." Mia chuckled and looked at the view.

The plane stopped mid-air and landed on the deck.

"I'll go check the Holotable again." Mia stood up and walked back to the lab. She pushed the on-button again and this time the table went on. The holograms weren't sharp so she smashed the side of the table a few times. The holograms cleared and Mia played with them. She twirled them around and made them big and then small again. Just to see what was possible with the device.
