Quinjet
Location: On the way to London

Mia and Agent Hill sat in a Quinjet towards London. There were sightings of Thor but those disappeared quickly. Mia had done some phone calls with the local police and found out that Thor and Jane Foster beamed up into a circle of light. They both knew immediately that Thor went back to Asgard and took Foster with him. The question was, why?

Now, almost a day later, the Quinjet landed on top of a hotel Fury had booked for them. It was near enough to the last place Thor was seen and the town center.

“Ready to investigate?” Hill asked Mia when she turned the engine of the small plane off.

“Let's get this done.” Mia smiled and she stepped outside. The rooftop of the hotel gave a beautiful view over the town and Thor's last known location. But Mia had not much time to stop and glare at it. She had work to be done for they didn't know when Thor might come back.

“The local police had agreed to meet us at the spot.” Hill came up behind Mia and together they walked to the meeting point. “Do you remember your first field mission?” Hill wanted to make small talk on their way.

“Uhm… it was with Clint, right?” Mia guessed with a chuckle.

“Yes,” Hill shared the laugh, “you and Clint were suppose to find a drug base.”

“I remember that.” Mia thought back at how stupid she was back then. “Clint proposed to use the vents so we could go in without being seen. That failed epically.”

“You never told me what did happen.” Hill said and gave Mia a tell-me-please look.

“Gods, it's embarrassing.” Mia could feel her cheeks warm up. “I didn't speak to Clint for a whole month.”

“Barton didn't mind it.” Hill laughed. “He said you made too many jokes to be taken serious.”

“I was nervous.” Mia used as an excuse. “I make jokes when I'm uncomfortable.”

“I know. Please, can I know what happened?” Hill walked onto the open space they were suppose to meet the police officers but no one was there.

“We were in the vents and I had some trouble with moving forward.” Mia began her story. She remembered it as if it happened yesterday. In fact, it must have been more than a decade ago. “Clint told me to grab his boot, so I did. But I didn't grab it the right way and I ripped it off of his foot. After that I ruined the element of surprise by falling through the ceiling. We had to fight our way in and out.”

Maria Hill couldn't but to laugh very hard. The police men who came up to them had a confused look on their face and when Mia saw them she stepped in front of Hill.

“Afternoon, gentlemen.” She said and apologized for the meeting.

“No problem.” A man with brown hair said. “We're glad we can help.”

“What happened here?” Hill stopped laughing and joint the conversation. “I see the drawings on the concrete.”

“Yeah, we don't quite know.” The man told her.

“I've seen it before.” Mia said and Hill nodded. “Thor made the same thing in Mexico.”

“He also made one in New York.” Hill added. “These things are hard to get rid of in asphalt.”

“Do you mean Thor as in the Avenger?” A man with blond hair asked. Both Hill and Mia nodded and walked over to the men.

“I think that we might not see Thor for a long time if he’d been alone.” Mia muttered.
