♧ Background ♧

Pyro and Lily both loved to garden. They had seen each other at the same store a couple of times but were both too shy to say hello. Lily needed certain seeds and Pyro needed better gardening supplies such as fireproof gloves.

They both walked down the gardening aisle. They both saw each other and made eye contact.

◇ Lily's POV ◇

I saw the same flareon again. I saw him multiple times at this store. If I'm being honest, he's kinda cute. But, He wouldn't like me. He's probably way out of my league....

¤ 3rd person POV ¤

Both Pyro and Lily looked away from each other. Not looking ahead of themselves causing them to bum into each other. Both blushed slightly, "I-I'm sorry!" Both of them said at the same time. Silence fell.
"I'm the one who should be sorry.." Lily spoke up.
"No, I should be. I wasn't looking where I was going" Pryo protested.
Both fell silent once more, staring at each other and giggled.
"Anyway, What's your name? I'm Lily" Lily said as she lifted her paw expecting a handshake.
"I'm Pyro!" Pyro answered while shaking Lily's paw.

This how they met and became friends. They eventually started to help each other with gardening.

It was a warm late-spring day. The sun was shinning softly. Pyro blushed as he held his confession letter and some special roses that are rapped in a light green ribbon. He got all of this for Lily. He finally built enough courage to confess to Lily even though he wasn't going to talk to her directly he wanted to tell her how he felt. He firmly held the items in his paws as he padded to where he had asked Lily to meet him at.

Lily patiently waited on the peaceful, green hill that was sprinkled with small, colorful flowers. She heard a rustle of grass underneath something's paw. She twitched her ear and turned toward the sound. Her soft white pupils expanded as Pyro came into sight. He padded over to her and sat down next to her. Pyro looked into Lily's eyes. He handed her the letter and the roses. She blushed at the roses as she read the letter.

Silence fell between the two. Pyro started having doubts. Lily looked at him and locked eyes. She simply nodded and kissed him on the cheek. Pyro tensed up, pulled away and hid his beetroot red face in his paws. Lily giggled and wrapped her tail around Pyro. ♡
