▪︎ 3rd person POV ▪︎

A jolteon was walking through the forest. Their name was Thyme. They were searching for some specific herbs. They frequently looked at the undergrowth to find what they are looking for.

But, They were quite unfamiliar with most of the undergrowth here. It was far from where they recognized as familiar. There were many thick trees bundled together. Some water's soft and quiet roars could be heard from a nearby stream. Some sunlight splattered across the forest floor.

Small items in Thyme's brown leather pouch made a small rustle noise as they walked. The bird pokemon are chirping throughout the deep forest. Thyme's ear twitched as they listened to the chirps. They tried to identify where they were by the chirps.

They spaced out for a small second. But, They quickly was sent back down to earth as their fight or flight response kicked in. They tumbled down the steep hill. When they reached the bottom, they landed roughly on their belly. They felt some pain zap throughout their body. They tried to stand up but their left back leg was sprained and they couldn't.

♡ Abigail's POV ♡

I walked through the woods near my hut. I was walking further than usual today. Suddenly, I hear something or someone tumble down a hill. My ears perk up to find where the tumble came from and I followed them there.

Suddenly, I came across a jolteon. They were laying on their belly on the forest floor. Their eyes were closed. Their back puffed slightly up and down so, I knew they were still breathing. Their left ankle looked as if it was in a weird position. I think they sprained it.

I came up to them and lightly tapped their nose with my paw. They opened their eyes and looked up at me.
" Are you alright? ", I ask them.
" No, I think I sprained my ankle. Could you help me? ", They ask back.
I nodded as I helped them onto my back and started back from my hut.

☆ Thyme's POV ☆

My dark purple eyes creep open from a deep sleep.

My vision was blurred by a smear of yellow orange before focusing. I was on a table with some pillows under me. There were some crystals surrounding me. They were up in small groups. I spotted a bowl with some incense burning.

" Finally, You have awoken. ", A voice stated.
I jumped slightly and turned my head to the source of the voice. It is that flareon again. She had a deep red cloak that drifted to about her ankles and a same color witch hat. She also had a wooden staff with her. There was a brown leather pouch drifting to her left side.

I suddenly tried pulling myself up. The flareon padded over to me.
" No. No. No. Stay down. ", She ordered while clicking her tongue.
I slide back down into the soft, dark green pillows that were below me.

I gave myself some deep breaths. The flareon smiled as I did so.
" Anyway, I didn't get your name ", The flareon stated.
" Um.. I'm Thyme. ", I answered.
" That's quite a unique name. I'm Abigail ", She chuckled.

After a couple of hours, My leg was for the most part fixed. I still limp on it but it's better than not walking at all.

Before I limped out the door, Abigail gave me this yellow crystal. She said it was for protection and to keep it in my pouch at all times. And that's what I did.

▪︎ 3rd person POV ▪︎

Thyme and Abigail are metting once again under a beautiful sakura tree. The sakura tree is a beautiful pastel pink and it seems like it's glowing a blueish purple like shade in the light of the full moon. This is what they have doing each month under a full moon. It has been a bit over a year since Abigail healed Thyme.

Abigail was quite nervous this time. She was slightly wobbly as she padded to the sakura tree where she saw Thyme waiting for her. Their yellow bristly fur was shining a brighter tint with the moonlight.

As Thyme's dark purple eyes met Abigail's dark green ones, They smiled. Thyme's paw lifted up and mentioned Abigail to come forward. Almost as a invisible rope, Abigail came closer. She eventually sat down on the left of Thyme.

" You look really pretty ", She started. Thyme just smiled at her.
" You aren't so bad yourself ", They responded.
" I uh.. got something for you ", Abigail mumbled as she shuffled through her pouch. She lifted a thick stringed necklace from the pouch. A heart made of wood hung from the bottom. She put it in front of her and towards Thyme.

" This is for you ", She said while looking to the ground. Thyme gently took it from her paws. They gazed over their gift. They noticed that the heart had a latch and it could be opened. They opened it and there was a heart shaped rose quartz on the right side. On the left side, There was a empty picture frame in a circle shape.

Thyme gently closed the locket and gently gazed at Abigail. Abigail smiled awkwardly at them and then her eyes went back to the ground. She took in a deep breath and then set her sights back onto Thyme.

" Thyme, It's been over a year since I've met you and... I think I might caught feelings for you. So, It's alright if you say no but, Will you be my one and only partner? ", She confessed.
Thyme's eyes widened slightly but then softened.
" Yes, Of course I will ", They answered.

Abigail became overjoyed. Her fluffy tail wagged from side to side. She launched herself at Thyme. Her paws wrapped around their neck as she pulled them closer to her.

After the hug, Abigail pulled away but kept her paws around Thyme. Abigail leaned in and closed the gap between them. The kiss only lasted moments but felt longer. Abigail pulled away from her new partner. Her face became hot as she realized what she just did.

" Sorry. ", She awkwardly apologized.
" No, No, It's quite alright. I kinda liked it. ", Thyme reassured.
Thyme sighed lovingly as they pulled their girlfriend into their chest for a snuggly hug.

Somewhere close, A Leafeon watched the two. She smiled at them.
" Awww so, that's how my parents became lovers ", She whispered happily to herself.
" I still didn't get the answer of why they named me Lily but, That doesn't matter. This is enough. ", She whispered to herself.

She held her time machine in her paws. She gazed at it.
" Bring me back to the future ", She ordered it.
She dropped it lightly on the ground and it sprung open, revealing a portal back to the year she came. She hesitated as she turned to it. She searched the ground. She spotted a red amaryllis flower. She smiled and picked it.

" Now, Time to go home. And time to report that the time machine worked. And to give this to my boyfriend ", She said as she ran through the portal. The portal closed and left nothing behind.

Thyme noticed a small bit of light from the portal but said nothing, thinking they might've imagined it.
