☆ 3rd person POV ☆

Millie had invited five best friends to a game of croquet. She thought it would be a great way to spend a nice, warm summer day. Plus, she was quite bored, so why not right?

Millie was first to be there. She waited patiently for her other friends to arrive. Over time, two cars showed up, one being bright colored and the other dark colored. Three pokémon slipped out of the bright colored car, being Allie, Michael and Lindsay. Two pokémon slipped out of the darker colored car, being Rich and Madeleine.

Millie quickly noticed Michael was quite pumped up. He was always like that with a game of any kind. Millie smiled at his enthusiasm.

" You all ready for this? ", She exclaimed, getting the attention of her five eeveelution friends.
" Oh yes! ", Michael shouted, beaming.
Then, a small snicker was heard from a certain Leafeon. Michael quickly spun back around towards her.
" What's so funny?! ", He snapped at her.
" Oh nothing. Just the reminder that I'm gonna absolutely destroy you! ", She barked, smirking.
Michael gasped and flicked up his yellow pelt.
" Oh yeah? ", He challenged.
" Yeah. ", She accepted.
" Now, let's be civil. We haven't even started yet. ", Rich spoke up, grinning contently at their shenanigans.

Michael give him a quick scowl with his yellow fur bristled. Lindsay snickered once more and stuck her tongue out at the ruffled electric type.
" Alright, Let's pick our colors now. ", Madeleine prompted, looking at Millie.
Millie nodded and showed them their options of colors. There were only 6 colors, fitting. Then, the friends quickly picked out their color of choice. Millie took the red mallet, Allie took the orange mallet, Michael took the yellow mallet, Lindsay took the green mallet, Rich took the blue mallet, and finally, Madeleine took the black mallet.

" Uh, small question. Why do you pick the blue one instead of the black one, Rich? You know, black seems more of your color in my opinion. ", Allie spoke up, a bit puzzled.
" Well, my markings are blue and personally, this deep blue is my favorite. Plus, Madeleine doesn't mind which color she has by the way, just in case if that was the second question on your mind. Right, Madeleine? ", Rich explained.
Madeleine nodded, giving a thumbs up to Rich.
" Oh alright, sorry. Was just a bit curious. ", Allie apologized.
" That's fine, no worries. Now, let's start before Michael yells at everyone to get moving. ", Rich prompted, moving towards his friends who were just itching to get started.
Allie nodded and followed him.
" Now, let's play! ", Millie exclaimed, beaming with a smile.

- Timeskip -

Millie and Michael growled at each other, their furs flared and their muscles tense.
" You totally did that on purpose, you cheated! ", Michael shouted at her.
" I totally did not! ", Millie snapped back.
" Yes, you did! You moved my ball with your ribbons and into your favor! ", He accused, pointing his paw at the yellow and red balls on the spot in front of him.
" I wouldn't do such a thing! How dare you think I would do that! I just hit your ball with mine and it bounced backward! That's how you play the game and win! ", Millie argued.
" But I saw you smirk as you went towards mine! I know you did something to it! ", Michael insisted.

As their arguing continued, the other eeveelutions just looked at each other with a twinge of awkwardness in the air.
" Here they go again. ", Lindsay retorted, rolling her brown eyes.
" Yep, classic Michael and Millie. ", Madeleine agreed, nodding.
" They do this every game. No matter what kind. ", Rich concurred.

Then, Allie yawned, blinking her dark green eyes.
" Hey, I've got an idea. ", She prompted.
Lindsay, Rich and Madeleine looked at her, waiting for a response.
" Yeah? Whatcha got? Tell us. ", Madeleine ushered.
" Well, since they're fighting again, it's hot outside, and it's getting later, I thought we could all stop for some ice cream, if that's ok. ", Allie told them.
After a moment, Lindsay nodded, smiling at Allie.
" Yeah, that could work. Let's do that. ", The Leafeon agreed.

" Hey, you manics! Come on, we're going for some ice cream! ", Lindsay shouted over to the arguing duo.
" But the game! ", Millie exclaimed.
" Yeah, we need to finish it! ", Michael agreed.
" Well, we're bored and plus you two fighting is getting old! ", Lindsay argued back.
Michael huffed and rolled his dark purple eyes, but waddled over to Lindsay.
" Fine. I'm down for some Chocolate ice cream right now anyway. ", Michael gave in, skulking a little.
" I'm getting Black Cherry! ", Millie announced, a smile returning to her face.

" Good idea, Allie. ", Madeleine whispered to the Flareon before they slipped into their cars and drove off to get the sweet, cold treat.

Also, one thing is the platonic ones with multiple eeveelutions (more than three) are going to be labeled with ' First eeveelution ' X others X ' Last eeveelution '. Harems are the ones with ' Eeveelution ' X Eeveelutions. Just wanted to clarify that because platonic oneshot are now in my mix of oneshots :)
