☆ 3rd person POV ☆

Loneliest of pokémon could find their forever lovers, well all thanks to Xaria, of course. Her job is to help these lonely pokémon to find their true love, platonic or not. She's also known for allowing the strangest couples to emerge together, no matter how different or weird. There's always a way for her to do it.

However, ironically, Xaria can't find love herself. She's tried many times with many different kinds of pokémon. Unfortunately, not a single instance, has it worked out for Xaria. Nonetheless, that fact never seemed to affect her. She had given up on finding love for herself and decided on continuing helping on guiding others to their true loves.

It was a usual fall morning for Xaria. The leaves were all different shades of red, orange, yellow and brown. Many of them were still on the trees. The weather was a bit brisk, however the air still had that nice summer breeze. Perfect weather for love to blossom.

Xaria flew around on her small white wings. She was invisible to everyone around her. She looked carefully with her light blue eyes for lonely Pokémon.

She spotted a depressed looking Midnight Lycanroc in the window of a coffee shop. They looked down at their coffee and sighed. They took a sip of the coffee and went back seeming empty. Xaria looked over and spotted a Zoroark on the other side of the shop. She smirked as she felt the potential of the two.

She slipped into the coffee shop and she waited for a couple of moments before the Lycanroc spotted the Zoroark and took a slip of coffee. Right when the Lycanroc spotted them, Xaria slipped a bit of invisible pink liquid into the coffee. The Lycanroc took a slip and their eyes became captivated with the Zoroark. The Lycanroc's cheeks bursted into a red shade. It turns out they were quite shy.

' Awww... Better give them a bit confidence. ', Xaria thought, smirking.
She grabbed an arrow from her pouch behind her back. The heart shaped tip had a smaller heart in the middle of the shade of bright yellow. She inserted it into her bow and positioned it towards the Lycanroc. She shot it at them. She saw the effect kick in through their dark red eyes. After a couple of moments of hesitation, the Lycanroc got up from their seat and padded over to the Zoroark. They both started to talk to each other and Xaria knew this was the start of something beautiful for the two. However, she didn't know that something beautiful was about to start for her as well.

A Vaporeon walked into the shop. His dark purple eyes were droopy and there were dark circles lining them. He ordered a light and sweet coffee with a cupcake after he went inside. Xaria wasn't sure why, but she felt something as she looked at him. It was a longing for being close to the mysterious Vaporeon. Xaria couldn't understand why she felt this why towards this new face, she just couldn't put her paw on it.

Xaria continued to watch him for a while. He seemed like any ordinary sad and lonely Pokémon, however due to that weird feeling, Xaria couldn't take her eyes off him. It was like she was being pulled towards him. She observed him for a little while with her wide and soft light blue eyes. She decided to not intervene with the Vaporeon today, since she felt a light and nervous feeling in her stomach.

Xaria was invisible in the same coffee shop as last time. She enjoyed the atmosphere in there. The smells of coffee, sweets and pastries constantly filled her nose, making her feel light and warm inside. Then, someone entered the shop and immediately caught her eyes again. It was the same Vaporeon before. He ordered the same thing as last time.

Xaria was pressured to meet him and chat with him. She slipped outside and looked around for any pokémon. When she realized that no one was really around, she turned visible to the eye. She hid her wings and accessories before slipping back into the shop.

She quickly padded over to the Vaporeon. His head was in his pale blue arms and was on the table. Xaria gave him a sad look before she lightly knocked on the table with one of her ribbons. The Vaporeon looked up at her from his arms with his tired dark purple eyes. He gave her a questionable look.

" Excuse me, do you mind if I sit across from you? I spotted you over here by yourself and I would like to know you better. ", Xaria asked.
" Yeah, sure. That's fine. I don't really have anything better to do anyway. ", The Vaporeon sighed.
Xaria quickly sat in the booth across from him.
" So, what's your name? I'm Xaria. ", She greeted with a soft smile.
" Murvin. ", Murvin quickly replied.
" Ah. ", Xaria peeped out with a small bit of embarrassment in her voice.

Then, after a couple moments of cold and awkward silence, Xaria successfully started a conversation with Murvin. And quickly, a friendship blossomed between the two. Through a course of multiple months, They began to frequent that coffee shop and chat. Soon, feelings started to rise in both their throats. However, they didn't know how to tell the other how they felt. Until one day.

Xaria had invited Murvin to get food with her. They're now both in the nearby park, enjoying the peaceful scenery during the warm evening.
" Hey, Murvin. I need to tell you something. ", Xaria started with a red shaded face.
" Yeah? What is it? ", Murvin prompted with a soft tone.
" Well.... um... ", Xaria peeped out.
She glanced at him. He was looking at her with a patient look in his non-tired dark purple eyes. She took a deep breath. She paused for a second as she thought it over one last time.

" Have you ever loved someone before? ", Xaria asked.
" I have. ", Murvin admitted.
" Would you even love that Pokémon if they weren't something that you thought they were? ", She questioned.
" Yes, I would. As long as it wasn't hurting anyone else in any way, I would still love them the way they were. Why? ", He told her.
" Well... ", Xaria sighed.

" I love you, Murvin. ", She blurted out.
A red blush burst upon both of their faces. Murvin's dark purple eyes widened at her with astonishment.
" Well, that's good. Since I love you too, Xaria. ", Murvin confessed.
Xaria smiled and impulsively gave him a quick peck on the lips.

" I'm sorry! ", Xaria said quickly.
" It's fine, I liked it ~ ", Murvin cooed.
She giggled at him, playfully. Then, she remembered where she was going with her earlier words.
" But, will you still love me even if you knew who I really am? ", She asked.
" What do you mean? ", He questioned.
" Well, here's the thing... I'm the cupid Sylveon, Xaria. I hope it doesn't change your feelings of me. ", She confessed.
" It doesn't. ", He shrugged.
Xaria let out a sigh of relief.
" As long as it doesn't take you away from me. You're my girlfriend. My cupid ~ ", He cooed.
" Well, someone's possessive ~ ", She teased back.
Then, they both giggled at each other.
