☆ 3rd Person POV ☆

Amara scrolled through her phone, looking bored. They curled up on the couch, paws laying on the soft pillows.

" Amara! ", A familiar voice shouted.
She shifted their eyes towards the origin of the voice. It was Jason, looking at her from the doorway. Jason was their boyfriend that she got with a couple of months ago.

" What is it? ", They barked, in a slightly annoyed tone.
" I would like to bring you out on a date. Perhaps to that new restaurant that I've heard has really good seafood, I know how you love your sushi. ", Jason offered, giving her a sweet smile.

However of a positive response, Amara groaned loudly in frustration.
" Really!? Another date!? Didn't we go out on one last weekend!? Can't we have one weekend inside!? ", They snapped, lashing her diamond tail in anger.

Jason was taken back by this for a moment, however he fought back against them this time.

" Why do you always do this?! I just want to take you out somewhere nice! I am trying to be a good boyfriend for you! ", He lashed out, baring his teeth at her.
" Well, a good boyfriend let's their girlfriend do whatever she wants. ", Amara stated, glaring a bit.
" Then, why did you even date me!? ", Jason barked, growling.
" Because you had some nice qualities! ", They answered.
" Like what!? ", He snapped back at her.
" Well, you're one of the most popular pokémon I know and your appearance is decent! ", They told him.
" Are you saying that you only date me because of my looks? ", He asked, coldly.
" That's exactly what I'm saying. Now, be a good boyfriend and leave me alone. ", She instructed, dismissing him.

" Get out. ", Jason told them.
" What? ", Amara blinked in surprise, looking at him like he was crazy.
" I SAID GET OUT! ", He shouted, flaring his fins.
" But I'm your partner! ", They injected, backing down.
" Not anymore, we're through. Now, get up and leave my house. ", He stated, firmly.
" But you can't do this to me! ", She pleaded, raising from the couch.
" Yes, I can. Now leave! ", He lashed.
" But what about my stuff!? ", They asked, nervously.
" We'll deal with that later. Now, get out. ", He stated, pointing to the door with his front right paw.
" Please Jason! ", She pleaded, their tail curved between her legs.
" No. Now, leave before I have to forcefully remove you. ", He growled, silting his dark purple eyes.

Amara finally decided to give in and left, looking defeated with only their phone in paw. Jason slammed the door on her and watched as they sulked away, probably back to her house.

Jason looked down in regret for a moment, however he was sure he made a good decision.

Rich blinked sleepily, having his fluffy tail curled around him. He was on his couch. A blanket rested over him, covering him in its warmth. He had just woken up from a nap recently.

Suddenly, his phone started to ring loudly. Without looking who it was, he answered the call.

" Hello? ", He greeted, a bit confused.
" Hey Rich. ", A recognizable voice replied back.
" Jason!? Why are you calling me? ", Rich barked, surprised.
" Well, I wanted to hang out with you soon if that's alright with you. ", Jason suggested.
" Sure, what time? ", Rich asked, in a calmer tone.
" Uh, later tonight, maybe around 6:30? Perhaps we could do out for dinner, my treat, really. ", Jason offered.
" Sure, I'll see you soon then? ", Rich went on.
" Yep, bye. ", Jason confirmed, ending the call.

Rich smiled a bit, then he got some quick doubts.
' He doesn't love you, remember? But then why did he just ask me to dinner? ', He questioned himself.
Questions like that kept appearing in his head until it was close to leaving.

Soon, there was a knock at the door. Rich jumped a bit, but then reminded himself that it was just Jason. In his comfortable red hoodie, he padded over to the your and opened it, revealing the one and only, Jason.

The Vaporeon had a warm and soft smile upon his face as he saw Rich.
" Are you ready? ", Jason asked with a soft dark purple gaze.
" U-uh, yeah.. ", Rich replied, as his heart instinctively skipped a beat and a light blush rested upon his orange cheeks.
" Well, then let's go! ", Jason chirped excitedly, grabbing onto the Flareon's arm.
" Okay! Okay! ", Rich chuckled, following the Vaporeon.

After a nice and cool walk, Rich and Jason decided to eat this nice restaurant that was known for their scrumptious dinners. Jason had gone a couple times before, Rich hadn't ever gone. This was a new experience for him.

Jason and Rich sat down in a small booth, the seats were quite fancy and comfy. The eeveelutions sat across from each other, facing one another. Rich picked up the menu and look carefully looked through the options available to him.

" See your burns are healing up beautifully ~ ", Jason cooed.
" They are? ", Rich asked, looking over the old burns.
His orange fur grazed the surface of the covered wounds, soon they will be hidden under his pelt.
" Yeah, I guess so. I have been taking care of them, just as my doctor said. ", He pointed out, looking into Jason's soft gaze.
" You're definitely doing a great job then. ", Jason pointed out.

" Why hello, valued customer! ", A waiter announced, gesturing to the bubbly Vaporeon.
Jason nodded to them with a friendly smile.
" Would you like to start off with drinks? ", They offered.

After dinner, Jason insisted on taking a nice walk through the park before going home, he said the stars and moon will light their way. Rich agreed, just itching to spend more time with Jason.

' He was right, the sky is beautiful tonight, just as he still is. ', Rich thought, taking in the sight of the twinkling stars and moon.
" Are you alright? ", Jason asked, tilting his head at Rich.
" Ye-yeah I'm fine! ", The Flareon defended quickly, a bit embarrassed.
" Hehe, alright. But anyway, I didn't bring you out here for nothing. ", The Vaporeon suggested.
" What? ", Rich asked, confused about his wording.
" Well... ", Jason started.

Then, Jason held onto Rich's paws with his own. He looked deep into Rich's dark green eyes. The moonlight lit up the Flareon's orange fur in such a gorgeous way.

" I did want to say something important. ", Jason stated, feeling butterflies flutter in his stomach.
Rich looked at Jason for him to continue.
" I can't say anything that'll make sure believe me. So, I must go something first. ", Jason told him.
Before Rich could say anything, he was interrupted by Jason giving him a quick peck on the lips.

" I know that was sudden, however I wish to start something special with you. I know how you felt before. I'm foolish to not realize that you were the right option and I choose Amara wrongly. Now, I need to ask if you're willing to start over with me. Would you be my boyfriend? ", Jason asked, patiently waiting for a reply.
