☆ 3rd Person POV ☆

Jake smiled as he unlocked the door to the bakery. The small bell rang as the door was opened. His ringed markings glowed a dim and soft yellow hue as he entered the dark store. Outside, it was still quite dark outside. The sun hadn't even reached the horizon yet. Rich, dark blues, soft pinks and yellows stained the sky. It was peaceful.

Jake flipped the sign to indicate the bakery had opened. He flicked on the light, brightening up his dim surroundings. His red eyes were tense for a moment before they adjusted to the sudden new light pouring into them. He blinked, shaking his head a bit. Then, he slipped behind the counter. He made sure that everything was in place there.

He grinned at the silence and ambiance of the very early morning shop. When no one is around, sometimes it was good taking it all in. As he knew no one would come in for at least a hour or two so, he decided to slither into the kitchen and start to bake the usual breakfast snacks while listening to music playing from his phone in the background.

Beth flicked her ears as she padded down the street, along the concrete sidewalk, with her three friends, Rain, Kathy and Daisy. Kathy yawned widely, revealing her sharp fangs.

" Why are you tired? Aren't you an early bird? You went to sleep really early last night. ", Daisy observed, gesturing to the Shiny Espeon.
" Well, I continued to wake up because of Rain's nightly gaming session. ", Kathy answered honestly, glaring over at the certain shiny umbreon.
" Hey, it's not my fault. I just want to enjoy myself. ", Rain argued, returning the glare to Kathy.
" Well, we could soundproof your room, make it easier. ", Beth suggested, looking back at all of them, a bit frustrated at their almost constant bickering.

" Hey, look. That bakery is open. ", Daisy pointed out, gesturing to the lit up shop.
" This early? Most Pokémon don't even began to work for another hour. ", Rain stated, confused.
" Should we go check it out? ", Kathy suggested, curiously.
" Sure, I believe we could do for some treats. I'm glad I brought money with me. I knew we would need it. ", Beth agreed.

Jake was surprised when he heard the small bell of the shop jingle. He placed down the frosting bag next to the drying rack. A small bit of icing traveling onto the counter, making a sweet sugary glob, however the curiosity took over Jake. He carefully crept out of the kitchen into the selling section of the bakery. He poked his head out to investigate, using his eyes and ears carefully.

" Is anybody even here? ", A feminine voice asked.
" The lights are on. There must be someone. ", Another feminine voice stated.
" Or did they just leave the lights on? ", A third suggested.
" No, no, they wouldn't do that, that's a waste of resources. The electric Pokémon are not machines. ", The second voice replied, in a very certain tone.
