☆ 3rd Person POV ☆

Isbert looked around the circus tent as he sat down. His freinds convinced him to tag along with them, even if he wasn't so sure about it. A bit of blue cotton candy was in his paws, him slowly munching on it, in a bored manner. Many Pokémon had filled the stands, mostly tired, older Pokémon and their rowdy offspring. Screams and shouts filled the tent. Isbert lowered his ears, trying to muffle the overstimulating sound.

Quickly, everyone lowered their voices as a Pokémon strut into the main acting ring. They had a microphone with them and a fancy, but bright colored suit. Their stance was held high with pride and presentation.

" Welcome Friends and Foes, to the Great Scarlet & Violet Circus! The show is just about to began! We hope you enjoy the snacks and the performance! ", They announced, with a strong and loose tone.
After the announcer lowered their voice, the act began rushing out. Bright clothing and makeup were everywhere.

The rest was really a blur for Isbert as he mostly spaced out during the whole process. However, it the end of the show, someone caught his eye. He wasn't sure why, but he felt drawn to her.

She was one of the circus clowns in the tent. She was impressing small Pokémon with her balloon animal making skills. She was smiling and giggling the entire time like a ray of sunshine.

Isbert was just compelled to just say something. He padded closer to her, drifting away from his friends. Soon, as he was close enough, she noticed him with a big smile upon her face.

" Hello, good sir! Would you like a balloon? ", She greeted.
" Sure. ", Isbert said.
" What color? ", She asked, picking out balloons in all colors of the rainbow.
" Uh... Blue please. ", He stated, pointing to the dark blue one.

After filling up the balloon with helium, she began to shape it.
" Hey, actually, Could I have your name? ", Isbert asked, with some hesitation of confidence.
" My name? Nobody has asked my name before. ", She exclaimed, surprised.
" Well, I'm Adelina. Nice to meet you...? ", She went on, trailing off at the end.
" Isbert. That's my name, don't ware it out. ", He told her, smoothly.

A couple bits of conversation continued between them until Adelina was finished with the balloon animal and Isbert had to go.
' I can't wait to see her again. ', He thought, padding away with the blue balloon dog in his paws.

Soon after many visits to the circus, Isbert realized he had feelings for the bubbly clown, Adelina.

It was quite often that Adelina even brought him onto the stage during her performances. Even if he was intimidated by the massive crowd, they were just a blur as she was the only one he could look at. He even enjoyed them. He was actually considering joining in the circus as her performance partner, just for her. Now, he needed to tell her his feelings.

Adelina even gave him a special pass backstage for the circus. His was a VIP, so others knew he was aloud behind there.

He slipped inside the backstage portion of the circus. He saw many actors and performers scattered about. He smiled at him in a friendly manner.

He found Adelina in her usual spot, practicing her tricks, attempting to absolutely master her techniques.
" Hey, it's me. ", Isbert greeted, flicking his diamond-tipped tail.
" Why, Hello! ", Adelina exclaimed, excited to see him again.
She bounded over to him, giving him a warm, hugging eembrace. After she pulled away, her light blue eyes were shiny with friendliness.
" How have you been? ", She asked, curiously.
" I've been alright. I'm actually here to tell you something important. ", He answered, rapping his paws around hers.
" I lo- ", He was cut off.

" - Will began! ", The announcer shouted towards the audience.
All the actors began to exit and rush out towards the stage, which was also Adelina's que.
" I've got to go! ", She exclaimed, rushing to meet the other entertainers.
' I was so close. I just need to tell her. ', He thought, longingly, watching her leave him for the show.

After a couple of moments, He padded over towards the entrance, only silting it open with his paw to observe the show. He smiled as he watched his love perform her favorite tricks for the circus. However, something unexpected happened.

Adelina started to climb up onto the trapeze.
' But, she's never done that before! She could get hurt! ', Isbert worried in his head.
Without thinking, his paws sprung him forward onto the stage. His blue-green eyes were only the trapeze above. She swung down and grabbed his back paws. Soon, he was flying in the air with her.

" Ahhh! ", He exclaimed, nervously.
" It's alright! ", She shouted, trying to comfort him.
She flipped him around with her ribbons to face her, face to face. One more swing and they both were back on a sturdy platform.
" I heard you. I think I love you too. ", She cooed.
Then, She kissed him on the lips, affectionately.
The audience cheered below them, lots of clapping and "Aww's".
