"Keep him talking." All Might mouthed to you.

You nodded, but it was getting difficult to keep your cool. Transportation was waiting for the four of you outside the plane, but a car didn't feel fast enough. All Might was already calling his connections to investigate your house, but were you too late?

"Is Midnight with you..." you asked Dabi.

"With me? Such an odd way to put it," Dabi lazily danced around the subject. You could hear him messing with something in the room which further aggravated you.

"What do you want, Dabi," you clenched your phone so tightly you thought it would shatter.

"There's an easy question," he said, "I'll give you a hint. It has to do with you, but do you want the clean version or?"

"Gods, you suck!"

"I do more than that."

You rolled your eyes. All Might still looked busy making his phone calls. You were all trying to be silent as to not alert Dabi you were sending the attack team his way.

Keep him talking...

"Your creepy-ass isn't getting anywhere near me," you said.

Dabi paused briefly, not seeming phased as he continued snooping, "You sure about that? What if I said I was with Midnight."

"Let her go, Dabi..."

"(Y/N)," he hummed, "We've been here before. You come to me willingly and the people you love don't burn. Isn't being a hero boring and predictable?"

"Better than being a sadistic asshole," you said.

"But it's fun," he said, "I could show you a thing or two I'm sure your hero friends can't."

You looked up at All Might with pleading eyes. I can't keep this up! He gave you a thumbs up, that the team was en route, and you relaxed slightly.

Dabi snickered at your silence, "Haven't lost you already? We're just getting started."

All Might waved at you frantically and whispered so faintly you could barely hear, "Do NOT tell him you're here."

The irony!

Denki and Mineta kept glancing at each other looking terrified, but All Might escorted them to the transport car like a mama duck with her ducklings. You followed while keeping Dabi on the phone but the sound of the door closing got him curious.

"Going somewhere?" He sneered.

"How do I know she's actually with you and this isn't some trap," you said.

"I never said it wasn't a trap. But she is a bit tied up at the moment, she'll have to call you back."

Bastard.

"You better hurry, though," Dabi's voice rumbled dangerously against your eardrum, "I get dangerous when I'm bored."

"I'm not even home!" You lied, "How am I sup-"

"Figure it out," he cut you off.

You made a sound like a frustrated growl, "What could you possibly still want with me? And don't say anything gross to distract me, either."

All Might, Denki, and Mineta all looked at you with puzzlement. You shrugged.

"Fine," he said in his dry tone, "You're set on fighting me, then that makes you my enemy. Doesn't it? I like knowing everything about my enemies."
