AN: sorry for the updates 🤣 I got ocd about making edits lol

Sometimes you wondered if you would ever sleep soundly again.

The only reason you were able to sleep at all was due to Heller sucking out some of your energy and making you drowsy. It lasted a few hours before you were woken by nightmares. You nearly fell out of bed, a regular occurrence lately, thinking that you were back in the Yakuza's headquarters. Still delirious, you pat the bed a few times to make sure Overhaul wasn't in it.

Damn... you sat there, shaking. His golden eyes were burned into your memory. You were just starting to get over the last nightmares too. Now that you were breathing heavy, your throat felt hoarse and you decided to find yourself some water.

You crept out of your room into the dark hallway and paused. This was actually kind of scary, wasn't it? Being in a house alone with villains? Before, you had rescuing your godfather to keep your mind off it. Although, it seemed pretty quiet right now. Was everyone asleep?

No lookouts?

The silence was deafening as you found your way back to the kitchen. It's weird how much they trust me, actually... you decided while noting how easy it would be to slip out of here and go home.

Thinking of home made your chest ache. Midnight was probably beside herself, but at least she would have Monarch now. Even if you went back and gave up on your quest, would UA want you back? Your friends were probably sick of you and your disappearing acts by now.

Heller would be waiting around to play Nightmare on Elm Street with everyone if you returned, anyway...

You walked into the kitchen and found a glass for the water. The fridge had a pitcher of it, half filled, and you were reminded that not only were you trespassing but the owner was likely dead, and their body hidden somewhere.

Oh gods... what is wrong with me.

Izuku's face came into your mind. His visible hurt that you wouldn't come back with him. Your fingers tightened around the glass, but you were careful not to crush it. His energy still lingered in your system.

You shut the fridge and about crapped your pants. Like a cheesy horror movie, someone was waiting on the other side of the fridge door.

"Shit..!" you dropped the glass and the sound of it shattering made your heart almost stop.

Your company hadn't made a sound, but you knew they were watching your movements in the dark. The outline of their messy hair gave him away, and you relaxed.

"My face scare you that bad?" Tomura asked.

He was dressed down into just a long sleeve and no hands accompanying him. The counter behind him was being used as his backrest.

"No, you were just lurking like a freaking creeper," you said, catching your breath, "Gods... don't do that."

"You seem to be in a better mood," he said.

You pulled some hair behind your ear, ignoring his observation, "What're you doing in here?"

"Just got in. Needed to stop thinking about that bird faced loser."

"Overhaul..?" You looked down at the mess you made, passively answering, "You took care of him, didn't you."

The owner had to have a broom somewhere, but when you turned around to find the light switch, Tomura stepped over the glass pile. His cold, dry hand held your wrist and pulled you back, "Leave it."

You turned to respond and were already in his chest. His pale neck reflected off the moonlight that seeped through the window. He curved his head down towards yours and your heart skipped a beat.
