"Well, now. You brought us a pretty big catch, huh, Twice?"The leader of the League sat on a stack of abandoned, wooden crates. He wore a new, black trench coat that suited him quite well; making him look more mature. Twice brought you to their temporary "hideout" - or camp out. Whatever this empty warehouse was to them. You looked at all of their faces, or masks, with little enthusiasm.
Oh, gods, why were you here again?
"(Y/N)!" Toga kicked her feet excitedly over her box, "It feels like it's been forever since we were all together! Hey girl!"
Yeah, maybe fifty chapters or so... 🚪💃
You sighed, "Hey... again."
"I told Shigaraki we shouldn't be so warm and welcoming considering our history with helping you," Magne said, "But the guy's a romantic at heart. Consider yourself lucky."
"That's enough..." Tomura hid his face further into the detached palm he wore, "Give us a minute would you."
"Aw, but she just got here," Toga pouted.
"Come on," Compress was elegant at dismounting his box, "There'll be time for entertainment after the adults chat."
They didn't go far, but you were allowed your dark corner to speak with Tomura alone. It really had been a while. Except for the time you made out with him on your group date, this was the first time since that night in Kamino.
You were not as afraid as last time. In fact, it was hard to feel anything at all. Your little heart was a raisin. If you were feeling anything right now, it was safe... and you weren't sure that was a good thing.
"I thought you would've come for my help a lot sooner," Tomura removed his face guard so you could see his face clearly, "Talk about making a guy wait."
"You did?" You asked.
"Ever since I saw the Hitokiri cult make a spectacle of themselves on television," he scoffed, "That was quite the dramatic entrance! Tell me, though. Did it win you over?"
"... I didn't like the reporter, but I didn't want him dead."
His eyes narrowed, "So, what is it you want then? There's still a place for you at my side, or perhaps you had other goals of your own in mind? Whatever it is, we're making a deal this time."
"A deal?"
"I'm not helping you and getting nothing in return. So, make your choice wisely. I think it's safe to say your plans as a quirky, young hero aren't going so well. Time to try something a little more dangerous?"
You laughed, mostly to keep from crying. The same thought played in your mind the entire way here. Why did you choose to follow Twice? Why did you get in the car? You could have waited for the heroes to fix everything.
But you were done. Done with everyone lying about your bad deeds or taking the credit for them. Tired of everyone you cared about having to suffer just because of who your dad was. It was time to deal with Butcher. If that meant teaming up with villains to stop other villains, you were - almost - at peace with it.
"I want to take the cult from my father," you said, "And I need to save my godfather from the Yakuza. Then... you can ask me for whatever you want."
"Whatever I want, huh."
"I mean, I'm not going to go kill one of my friends. But anything else."
Tomura's smile widened, "We'll have to see just how serious you are, (Y/N). Although, I'm going to ask for multiple favors. So long as we can serve each other, I want this relationship to be as fair as possible."
