Waiting speaks for patience and vise versa.

RAVEN’s POV

“I’m sorry po Tita.” I said as I deeply apologized to her.

Tita Ellen asked me to help her put Anya on her bed upstairs. I saw Tita put a blanket on Anya’s sleeping body. Kanina at the kitchen where the ‘thing’ happened, gusto ko ng lumubog sa kinatatayuan ko. What a shame Raven!

“Hijo, I don’t know what started this but I’m pretty sure that it wasn’t intentional. I have the trust in you. And I know that you are a good man. Don’t worry I’m not mad. It’s just Anya which I am concern of. That will make a trauma to her if we didn’t do anything. Paano ka na niyan magkakaroon ng good point sa kanya?”

“Thanks Tita for your trust. I’m gonna find time to talk and to apologize as well to her.”

“Wag kang mag-alala, I’ll help you. By the way, I’ll just dress my daughter. Will you….”

She pointed at the open door. I courteously get out of the room and waited at the sala. I clutched my face as I sat on the sofa. Damn! How could I ruin this day? I supposedly treat Anya with respect from now on. I’m not a teenager anymore who used to tease her before just because I wanted to talk to her and get her attention. Ang pangit ng pagkikita namin ulit. I can’t think of ways on how to get even from what I did. God Raven! How can you do that rudeness?

                “Pare! Long time no see!”

I was back from my thought as I saw Kregg emerging from the staircase  together with Lavine, her wife. I stood up and went nearer to them making a high-five-posture. It sounded so loud that Kregg almost broke his arm jokingly.

“Oh no! You’ve got a big weapon man!” Kregg punched me in my biceps. I only laughed from what he did. “Yan ba ang epekto ng pagiging Architect? Patingin nga ng abs mo! Nakakabakla ka eh.”

                “Don’t pare. Baka matuluyan ka.”

“Ha ha that’s okay. Mahal naman ako ng wife ko. Right Honey?” He put his arms around Lavine’s waist and put his chin on her shoulder. Grabe, nakakakilig ‘tong dalawa na ‘to.

KILIG. Is that the right term for a man? I shook my head dismissing the term.

I looked at them again. Oh yeah, newly wed nga pala sila. We headed to the sala and excitedly sat on the sofa. Kregg didn’t change that much in terms of his physical aspects way back then. He’s only wearing now a pair of glasses. I didn’t know his eyes got problem.

“Stop that. Ayoko ng may kaagaw Hon. If I just knew earlier that you’re a transverstite, I won’t say I do in the first place.” Lavine pinched his nose giggly.

“Ha ha. If I know, si Raven ang bading dito.” Kregg gesticulates trying to be feminine in his acts. Lavine tapped his shoulder and they both laugh in joy. Naks, pag-tripan ba naman ako.

“Gag* ang gwapo ko namang bakla pare.”

“Ha ha Gag*, no bad mouthing pare. Pikon ka eh no?”

“Parang hindi siya nagsalita.” Lavine interrupted him. We both laughed in our stupid conversations. Still Lavine is our referee after all.
