|Saria POV|:

My alarm scared me out of my sleep, which is the reason I'm face to face with my wooden floor.

I grunt and get up to check the time. 10:50. Shit shit shit shit. I only have an hour to get ready.
I rushed to my bathroom, took a shower, I shaved my legs Thursday night so my legs are still fresh.

By the time I was done showering and doing my morning routine, it was 11:15.
I started on my make up, I did a very simple look. Meaning foundation, eyebrows,eyeliner, mascara, lip liner, and lip gloss, and just a hint of highlight .
I untwisted the twist I did last night and puffed it out with a pick, then I put it in a side part and added 2 gold clips.

I put the dress and wedges on, some simple jewelry, and my favorite perfume, then I grabbed a small nude purse and a shawl just in case it gets cold.

"Mommy looks cute doesn't she Leo" I twirled for him and he panted and wagged his tail "I'll take that as a yes" I said rubbing his stomach.

I checked my phone and it's was 12:00, then I heard a knock on my door.
I open it to reveal Grant in a white button up, a tie that matched my shirt, slim navy blue dress pants, a black designer belt, and a sliver Patek Philippe watch. His hair was in its usual disheveled curly state but his beard looked like it got touched up.

"No time to drool over my appearance, let's go" he said taking my keys out of my hands and lightly pushing me out the door "Wait I'm bring Leo to the pet sitter" I said going back into the apartment to get Leo.

"Saria you were supposed to do this before I came"
"Oh hush, you're lucky Nayline had no problem covering the shop so that I could go" he rolled his eyes
After he locked my door we got downstairs and saw Joe
"Ms. Atkins you look absolutely stunning" he said
"Thank you Joe, tell Irene I say hi" I said and he nodded in response

"Wait I have to check on Nayline" Grant puffed
"Saria I swear-"  he started and I cut him off "you swear what?" He just rolled his eyes and said he'd be in the car with Leo.
I walked into the shop and waved to everyone.
"Don't you look sexy" Nayline said "If I was a guy I'd have you bent ov-" Ja'Nell started "Ok Ja'Nell I get it" I laughed.

"Why does Grant look so grumpy in the car?" Ja'Nell asked. The three of us turned to look at Grant tapping impatiently on the steering wheel and I rolled my eyes
"he's rushing me, I just came to make sure you guys were doing fine. Any news on Cami?"

"She's about 8 cm dilated" Nayline said "Oh wow, they said she can have the twins naturally?" "Yea, she took the epidural so now she's not in so much pain" she responded "I'm so excited, I'll have to call her on the ride to the wedding" as I finished my sentence Grant honked the horn gesturing me to hurry up, I rolled my eyes.
"He's rushing me so bye guys, see you later. Don't be afraid to call for anything" They waved goodbye and I walked to the car getting in.

"Took you long enough" he mumbled
"Shut up and drive" I said after putting in the location of Leo's pet sitter.
"Why are you rushing me in the first place, people who crash parties aren't this punctual"
He ignored me and continued to drive

I took the silence as a sign to facetime Cami. Malcom picked up the phone "Hey Malcom, how's she doing?" "She's good just exhausted, wanna talk to her?"
"Yea, if she's not too tired" he nodded and passed the phone to Cami and she did look exhausted

"Hey mamma how you doing?" 
"I'm good as long as the babies are good. Where are you going all dressed up?"
"Grant's dragging me to a wedding"
"Mmh Grant you say" she said smirking. The mention of his name caught his attention
