|Grant's POV|:

I was peacefully sleeping in my room when I felt a body jump on me
"Dad were going to Saria's house today" I heard Jabez say as he shook me
What time is it? I turned to my clock and see it was 8 am

"Jabez it's still too early, we'll go around lunch time ok?"
He sighed in disappointment"ok" he said and walked out my room

I let sleep consume me again

"Dad I'm ready-"
"YOU'RE NOT UP YET" Jabez yelled making me jump out of my bed and fall on to the floor
"Jabez why the hell are you yelling" I said while rubbing my arm that was aching from the fall

"You said that we'll be leaving around lunchtime , it's now" he stopped to look at the clock "12:45"

Sometimes I feel like my kids aren't my kids, they're my parents
"Ok ok, sorry I'll go take a quick shower. Just wait in the living room for me"
He huffed and muttered "you better"thinking I didn't hear it
"HEY" I yelled and he ran out my room

I walked into my bathroom and looked at my reflection in the mirror, my hair is getting very long it's up to my shoulders
Huh I kinda look like the actors that play Jesus in movies 

Anyways I took a shower and washed my hair. I lathered coconut oil on (Adalia put me on). I dried my hair and put leave in conditioner in it then put it in a man bun.

Hmm what to wear, what to wear. I decided on a Lakers jersey with a white short sleeve shirt under, black jeans, and some low top all white air forces. I sprayed my favorite cologne on and walked down the stairs.

"Finally, come on let's go" Jabez said and he basically dragged me to the garage
"Which care today?" I asked Jabez
"Audi, now come on let's go"
I rolled my eyes at him

l was about to pull out of the garage when I saw Jaheim running up to us with his backpack
"What does he want now" Jabez wined
I rolled down my window

"Wait dad, can you drop me off to my class" Jaheim asked
"Jaheim you have a car that happens to be right beside us, why exactly do you need me to drop you off?"
"Because you're my dad" he said as if his statement made sense
"You just don't want to pay for gas huh"
"Dad have I ever told you you're the flyest guy I know, like look at you with the Lakers jersey looking fire-" he

"Just get in the car" I said and he got into the front seat all giddy
"Jabez what do you want to listen to?" Jaheim asked
"Carti"
"That demon? No we'll listen to Tyler the creator"
"Then why ask me?"
Jaheim shrugged
"I though you would have a good suggestion"
I just shook my head at their discussion

We dropped off Jaheim, I hope he knows he's taking an Uber to get back home
I put in the address Saria texted me into the gps and we arrived to her bakery and then I saw that there was another entrance for an apartment building

I walked in and saw Joe sitting at a desk with uniform on. Oh so this is the job that we works at that Tim was talking about
"Hey Joe" I said and he looked up and we hugged each other
"I can't believe how big you've gotten Jabez" he said
Jabez just smiled sheepishly greeting him also
"Your wedding anniversary yesterday was really nice"
"Oh it was all Tommy, he really worked hard to make it the night of our dreams"
I nodded as we talked for a few more minutes
