|Saria's POV|:

A few days later I was still sore, this is what I get for wanting to be "bold".

I showered, did my morning routine and took Leo down with me to open the shop. The kitchen staff and I started with the pastries while Vanessa got started with brewing the tea and coffee.

After all the pastries for the day were in the oven Cami, Malcom and I started reviewing what orders we have to finish before Saturday since that's the day we have to deliver most of them.

In the middle of planning Ja'Nell came in

She sat down and we continued planning and after we were done Ja'Nell and I went to my office to start creating designs for the cakes while Cami and Malcom started to go over the flavors and other pastries.

"Saria are you ok?" Ja'Nell asked as we reached my office
"Yea, why?" I asked sitting down at my desk
"You're walking like something's up your ass" she said sitting in the chair across from me
I let out a laugh
"I fell of my bed yesterday and hurt my thigh" I wasn't completely lying, I did fall off my bed yesterday but she eyed me suspiciously then her eyes widened

"Oh my gosh you got dicked down didn't you!" she whisper yelled and I avoided her gaze
"You did!!! How was it?, it was big wasn't it? it had to be for you to be walking like that. I knew it, Nayline and Cami owe me $50 each" she rambled
"You guys made a bet?"
"Of course we did, have you seen the way he looks at you? I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner" she said nonchalantly
I shook my head, in all honesty it didn't surprise me

We were designing for about an hour when we're interrupted by a knock on the door on the door, I said come in and Grant came in. He was wearing a black and white flannel, a white shirt, black jeans, a silver Rolex and some white  airforces. With the way he dresses you wouldn't think he's close to being 40.

Ja'Nell eyed me and I waved her off
"Hey Ja'Nell" he said
"Hey, oh and good work" she said giving him a thumbs up, I threw a ball of paper at her. Grant looked very confused.
"Huh?"
"Oh nothing she a little out of it today" I said and awkwardly laughed
"Stroke game must be stro-" Ja'Nell started but I cut her off by pulling him out my office  and awkwardly laughing again

By the smirk on his face he caught on
"You told her?"
"No, she inferred by the way I was walking" he laughed but quickly stopped when I glared at him
He cleared his throat
"I have this event tonight and I need you to come with me" I sighed, there's always an event. I miss when I could get off of work and sleep.

"Can't do tonight"
"Why not?"
"I'm really tired, I didn't get much sleep because Leo kept crying all night"
"I promise we don't have to be there for long"

I sighed in defeat when I looked into his eyes, Jabez does the same thing to get me into convincing Grant to let him stay longer to play with Leo, Jaheim did it once to convince me to give him and his friends free donuts, and although Jaylen doesn't have the same blue eyes he was still able to convinced me to tell Grant that he got a scratch on his new car.

"Why can't you be ugly" I said sighing, he knew that meant yes so he pulled me into a kiss
"Eww get a room" Vanessa said which caused us to pull away and laugh
"What time do I have to be ready"
"10"
"What?!"
"You have to be ready by 10" I looked at him like he had 3 heads

" I hope you mean 10 tomorrow morning because if you're talking about tonight you completely missed my point of me being tired. And what event starts at 10, is it at a club or something"
"Yes it's at a club, and that's exactly why I need you with me"
"The club is not my scene, why not go with Jaylen or Jaheim they're old enough"
"They're babysitting Jabez tonight since signorina Denise is busy, Saria please just go with me" he pleaded
