|Grant's POV|:

I saw her again, after 7 years.

Firing her was one of the worst decisions I've ever made, and trust me I've made a lot of bad decisions.

The day I fired her I was under so much pressure, my father yelling at me on the phone because our stats were dropping. Georgina trying to kiss and grope me every 2 seconds. My son Jaheim getting suspended for fighting. Then Saria being disrespectful and then not picking her phone up after 10 times.

I put all my anger on her, and made an irrational decision to fire her. And let me tell you karma came to bite me in the ass.
After firing her the company's stats drop tremendously.

I was in a very bad place, I developed a drinking problem. I wasn't as active in my kids life as I usually was. I became distant to my family and friends. Throughout all that Georgina was there for me. She supported me and pushed me to get better. Although she can be a very big pain in the ass, I love her.

We're planning to get married next year. The kids don't really like her, but I'm sure they just haven't warmed up to her. You would think 7 years was enough but we're still working on it.

A lot of things happened in 7 years. Both Jaylen and Jaheim graduated highschool.

Jaylen graduated college with a bachelor in political sciences. He decided that he wanted to become a lawyer and not take over the company. Which I encouraged him to go into the career path he desired. He's now in his first year of law school.

Jaheim is in his senior year of college and is studying to get his bachelor degree in business administration. Towards the end of high school he started to show a lot of interest in the company. So after Jaylen announced he didn't want to be the heir to the company I gracefully passed it on to Jaheim. He's still a very uh... special individual but understands there's a time and a place for his nonsense .

Jabez is 11, time flies by. He's in 6th grade, I can't believe my baby boy is already in middle school. He started soccer last year and really likes it, and happens to be really good at it. His Italian is very fluent and he can even speak a little Swahili. Jaylen and Jaheim can speak Italian but I urge them to speak their mothers native tongue more.

I've been missing my Adalia, I've been thinking of her a lot. I do love Georgina but Adalia was my first love, the mother to my first 2 kids. I've never met anyone with her personality, well Saria does have her personality. Maybe that's what drew me to her for those 2 1/2 years.

Well that's besides the point, I just have been missing her a lot more recently. This is Georgina and I's second go around, we dated before I started dating Angela. I think this time it's going to last.

Well, as long as I don't see Saria again.

I sigh and get up from my office chair, I have to get to Jabez's soccer game that starts at 5:00
I check the clock and it's.......4:45

I grab my brief case and make my way out of the building.
I hop in my Tesla and make it to his school.

I put my sunglasses on and join the other parents in the stands.

"Ja'Nell please stay out of my love life" I heard a familiar voice say
"But he's cute, you should go on a date with him"
"Please not you too Cami, I have a bakery to run"
"You haven't had actually sex in almost 9 years"

that's when I turned to the direction of the voices and saw the one and only Saria Atkins. The woman that's been on my mind since the day I saw her at my bakery.
