•The Next Day•
|Grant's POV |:

I woke to the sound of yelling
What are they arguing about this morning
I check my clock 10:30 am I don't have to go to the office  today until 12:00 pm

I got out of bed and put a shirt on since I sleep shirtless 😉
Tightened my sweatpants with its strings, washed my face, brushed my teeth, and headed downstairs

"NO JAY I WANT BABY SHARK" I heard Jabez cry out
"Lil boy we listening to Uzi this beautiful morning" Jaylen said
"Hell no we listening to BLUE FACE BABY" Jaheim said then yelled the last part
"You have no taste in music if you actually like his music" Jaylen said
I walked in to the kitchen

"How about we listen to my amazing voice singing" I said
"Umm how about hell to the no you sound like you're gasping for air" Jaheim said
"Papa it's ok, I'll listen to BLUE FACE BABY" Jabez said yelling the last part

"Ok what have you guys done to my son" I said making sure Jabez is ok because I know he don't just yell out blue face baby
"That was Jaheim not me" Jaylen said putting his hands up in defense

Jaylen is about 6'1 Jaheim is 5'10 Jabez is... I really
don't know he's 4 so it doesn't matter, but I'm 6'5 the doctor said that the kids are all tall for their age and she said I'm perfectly tall, I swear I think she tries to flirt with me sometimes.

"Jaylen be ready by 11:30" I said grabbing oatmeal to make for Jabez and I because Miss Denise is on vacation for a month.
Jaheim grabbed a bagel to put cream cheese on and Jaylen was having Cinnamon Toast Crunch

"Ight, lemme just call Elisha to tell her I won't be coming to her place today" he said dialing up her number
"Aye yo dad can I go to Raymond's house today, he just exclusively got 2k21" Jaheim said

"Yea just make sure it's fine with his mom so I'll drop you off before Jay and I go to the office " I said
He started texting immediately

"Dad am I going to grandmas house again today" Jabez asked
"Yea you are, she's exited to see you, and by the way we're having a surprise birthday dinner at grandmas house for step-grandpa on Saturday , they miss you both Jaheim and Jaylen" I said

"I talked to grandma yesterday, she cussed me out for not calling her more often" Jaylen said
I laughed, my mom loves to cuss people out

"Grandma knows I love her" Jaheim said
"All I know she's going to have your head on Saturday" I said

•25 minutes later•

"Ok everybody, shower shower, brush teeth, get ready do hair and etc." I said getting everybody out of the kitchen and cleaning up all the plates and bowels and putting them in the dishwasher

Then I got in the shower got dressed and ready then got Jabez dressed and ready

Today I went with a casual oxford shirt with a few buttons unbuttoned some dress pants and my dress shoes
Jabez wore a black Nike hoodie some black Nike sweat pants and his all white Air Force 1's

I got everybody in my Jeep Wagner
I dropped Jaheim off first then Jabez then Jaylen and I were off to Reign Inc.

We walked into the building and all my employees greeted Jaylen and I as we walked to the elevator

"Dad, don't you have an assistant?" Jaylen asked
"Yea I do but she takes her morning grad school courses then comes here at 3:00" I said then he nodded his head

We got to the 25 floor in 5 minutes and made our way to my office. Marissa gave me a look that meant she wanted me now but I just glared at her since I'm with my son.

"Dad why is that fine ass women at the secretary desk giving you goo goo eyes" he said
"Don't worry bout it"

•3 hours later•

We were working on some deals when Saria walked in and greeted us.

"Good morning Mr. Reign, and good morning Mr.Jaylen" she said
I just nodded and Jaylen threw her a big ass smile

As she was walking to her desk all I hear is
"DAD YOU AIN'T TELL ME SHE WAS THIS GORGEOUS"
I look to see no other than my son giving Saria goo goo eyes
I drag him by the ear

"Ow ow ow ow ow" is all I hear from him until we get to the break room
"Jaylen Alyxander fucking Reign, have you lost your damn mind" I said in a sharp voice while clenching my jaw

"Dad I'm sorry but she's really beautiful and I had to say it" he said acting like he didn't yell so loud that the whole 25th floor probably heard him

"Jay she's my assistant and I understand that you think she's pretty, but yelling at the top of your lungs because she of it is unacceptable. If you wanna run this company after I retire than you have to act like it, do some shit like this again, I promise you I'll give the company to Jaheim" I said sternly

"Oh hell no, not Jaheim dumb ass" Jaylen replied
"He's smart but acts dumb and you need to take a notch down on all that swearing" I said to him

"Dad you know damn well you the reason I swear this much, have you seen yourself mad?" he asked
I just rolled my eyes as we started walking back to my office
But before we could go in Jaylen pulled me well tried to pull me but I didn't move all that much

"Ok dad but before we go back in you can't lie and say you haven't looked at her and thought the same thing" he said
My face turned red
"Boy just shut up and get your ass in the office" I said while chuckling
"And you told me to take a notch down on swearing" he mumbled and I flicked the back of his head and walked behind  him into my office

"Go apologize to her" I said but quietly so only he could hear me
And he did just that
"I'm sorry Ms...."
"Atkins" she said

"Im sorry Ms.Atkins for saying what I said and I apologize if it made you uncomfortable" he said
"It's fine I don't hear that too often, thank you" she said with a genuine smile

I would tell her she's gorgeous everyday if I could
