A/N: ok I know I said that the dinner was Saturday but my dumbass wrote Saria taking Jabez to school so we'll act like I said the dinner was Friday.

|Saria's POV|:

It's Friday which means it's the pregnancy announcement and Grant's birthday.

Since I leave the house before him I was able to decorate our room with navy blue, white and silver decorations.

I took a step back to see my masterpiece... it kinda looked like a wedding and a sweet sixteen clashed but it's the thought that matters...right?

For his gift I got him 3 framed pictures. The one of him licking my face, a goofy picture I took of him and the boys a few weeks ago, and the recent ultrasound picture I got of peanut. Then I got him a tailored navy blue suit and a Tom Ford cologne that smells so good I almost shed a tear or maybe that was the hormones....

Anyways since he's not much of a breakfast person I got him black coffee with a bit of sugar and some cannolis from the shop.
I had to drop Jabez off to school and then go to the shop so I left the gifts on my side of the bed and left the card on my pillow.

In the card it says 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY DADDY. The big 3 9, you're officially a Dilf. I love you more than words can explain, and I'll show you how much I love you after your dinner tonight.
P.S- Red or black lace?'

I made my way to the living room and saw Jabez sitting on the couch playing a game on his Nintendo switch
"Did you eat breakfast?" I asked and he nodded too focused on his game to actually speak
"Ok let's go" I grabbing the keys to my car, we got in and started driving towards his school

"Saria can you take me to school everyday?"
"I can but doesn't Jaheim usually take you?"
"Yea but his car smells like hot Cheetos and feet" I laughed

The only thing I hate about dropping Jabez off is the traffic just to get to the entrance.
When we finally got there was a lady who opens the door for the kids but when I waved goodbye to Jabez the lady stopped him and brought him towards the car.
"You're not the one who usually brings him" she said
"Ms. Lynn that's my stepmom" Jabez said but she didn't believe him.

"I need you to park and come inside, I'm calling his father"
"I can call his father right now, can you let Jabez go to class?" She was hesitant but let him go
"Sorry Saria" Jabez said
"It's fine I'm calling your dad right now, have a good day at school" he nodded and walked into the building

I called Grant, he picked up on the first ring
"Hey Gr-"
"I love you so fucking much" he said cutting me off
"I love you too, bu-"
"I'm going to make sure you can't walk for the next 2 weeks" Ms. Lynn's face went completely red
"You can go" she said "Are you sure, I can-"
"Just go" she said and went back to opening the door. I shrugged and drove off

"Who was that" he asked
"Ms. Lynn from Jabez's school"
"Don't tell me she heard that"
"She definitely did" I said pulling up to the shop parking lot
"That's awkward since I have a meeting with her later" I laughed

"Good luck" I said, we talked for a bit more as I was setting the shop up. Once I finish we hung up since he had to get ready for work.

Hours later

Today was such a busy day since the shops going to be close tomorrow. So many people came to pick up their orders even though they could've picked it up tomorrow. This usually happens when the shop was going to be closed the next day, people get in a frenzy when they hear closed and don't read the bold letters that says 'schedule orders will still be available for pick up'.

The dinner was at 7 at this very upscale Japanese restaurant that Grant rented out. I told him he doesn't have to but we just kept going back and forth until I sighed and said ok.
