5 years later
It was a hot sunny summer day, and like everyone else in the city, I was enjoying the sun.
I was laying on the lounge chair in my brown bikini, next to the pool.
Most importantly, I was enjoying it alone.
As a mother of 4, I don't get much alone time. It's always Jaylen complaining about law school, Jaheim telling me about his relationship problems, Jabez talking my ear off about soccer and this girl who won't leave him alone, or Jordyn wanting to play tea party or dolls.
I love them death and love spending 95% of my time with them but I need some me time too.
Their father is no better, if he's not annoying the life out of me, he's trying to get in my pants.
Like how much stamina can one have?
Anyways, I try to clear my mind and focus on myself and the beautiful weather.
"Mommy!" I hear Jordyn shriek from inside
Am I going to act like I didn't hear her? Yes, her father will deal with whatever she's overreacting about.
