Chapter 50: Gender Reveal

3 months 3 weeks later:

Rory is laying on the couch relaxing. She is twenty-one weeks pregnant and she is glowing. We have made it further with this pregnancy than we did with Makayla and everything is going exactly as it should. Rory is six weeks further along than when she had the miscarriage. 

We are very pleased with the way the pregnancy is going she hasn't experienced any morning sickness as she did with Makayla. Rory complains about having to sit around but she reads and she finished her second book. A publisher called her last month and wants to publish her book. Once she signs the contract they will do a small book tour because of the newborn. 

They are talking about releasing right around Christmas and the book tour starting in mid-January. Me and both kids would tour with her of course. She is really excited and they offered a pretty good payment for publishing her book. Her publisher said it would be the next big teen young adult hottest seller. 

"So, are you excited about hopefully finding out the gender of our little bundle?" Tristan asked as he sat down and put her legs on his lap.

"Yes, I can't wait to find out what our baby will be. I am bigger this pregnancy than I was with Michael. I think it's from not being active and pretty much being a couch potato for the last four months almost."

"You are still sexy to me baby. I don't care how big you get you will always be sexy to me. You are just thinking that because you are upset because I make you stay seated all day and barely allow you to go out."

"Yes, I am but it will all be worth it when our beautiful baby is born. I know you are only doing this to ensure the baby is okay and I appreciate that. So far so good both doctors are pleased with the progress and as long as they are happy then I am too."

Tristan rubbed her feet as he sat there talking to her about her pregnancy. "So, what would you like for dinner tonight?"

"Can we order Chinese? If so then you already know everything I like so just order us a bunch and we will just share everything."

"Of course, we can order Chinese. What my wife wants my wife gets. What is that other saying? Happy wife happy life. My wife must be very happy because we have a very happy life. Other than being upset because I am making her rest. I let you go outside when the guys come over as long as you sit down out there."

"Yes, you do allow me to socialize on the back deck. You also have one of the guys come over and babysit me when you have to go to the store or anything. I don't need a babysitter. Logan was picking at me when he came over last time and stayed with me."

"He was just playing with you, baby. He told me that he was joking with you and didn't mean to make you mad."

"Telling me that he is having to babysit the woman he lived with, dated for three years, and proposed to. How the tides have turned? I don't need a babysitter I know that I have to rest and relax for the safety of our baby."

"I know that baby. The reason I have them come over is to make sure Michael is okay. You can't lift him if he was to fall or get hurt. I just have them to keep an eye on you while they are here so if you need anything they are here to get it for you."

"Really? Because every time they come over Michael is normally napping and my sitter just sits here with me talking to me or watching tv with me. I haven't picked my son up in almost four months."

"I know baby and I am sorry for that. I just want to be sure that we have a healthy baby. I am sorry if I am upsetting you by trying to make sure all three of my babies are alright while I run errands and grocery shop."

"I know why you are being the way you are but hello your wife has needs and you are afraid to even touch me. Afraid we will hurt the baby. We just have to be easy. Maybe that's why I am so frustrated and mad because I am very horny and my husband is afraid to make love to me."
