Chapter 66: First Yale graduation!

Seventeen Months later:

Today Michael graduates college and will be heading to Law school after his gap year. Michael is still with Deena and they are getting pretty serious. She has spent the last two Christmas's with us and they spent last summer in California with her family. 

She is also going to law school after she graduates. They are spending the summer in Australia at Finn's home. The guys are all very approving of her. Michael is happier than I have ever seen him and I think he is going to propose soon.

I can't believe that our firstborn son just finished the first part of his college education. The twins moved into the condo as did Deena under the pretense of having her own room but we were their age once and we know that is not the case. 

Emmy has a pretty serious boyfriend his name is Alex and they have been dating since her freshman year. She lost her virginity after about six months of dating Alex. That was a hard time for Tristan he sat in the living room for two days going through all our videos and photo albums of the twins. He has finally come to terms with it and is much nicer to Alex He may be the one for her.

Brayden met his girlfriend last summer in a coffee shop near campus. Her name is Adrianna and she is Juliet's daughter from the Life and Death brigade when I attended Yale. They have gotten pretty serious and I think that she is his match. 

I am pretty sure we will soon be having weddings to attend. Tristan is in total denial that our kids are growing up, especially daddy's little girl so much so that he barely speaks when they come for dinner. So our family of five has grown into a family of eight.

I am standing in the mirror making sure my dress looks appropriate for an almost fifty-seven-year-old woman to wear to my son's college graduation. I still have the body of my college years which is good for my sex life. 

Since the kids have all moved out they now permanently live in the condo our sex life is amazing. I swear it's almost like we are teenagers. Age has not affected either of us in that department. 

We have traveled all over the world in the last two years. Our time in Fez was amazing and it was even better that we both got to enjoy it together for the first time. Tristan and I have started exercising regularly we want to keep our bodies looking good. 

The only ones that are going to be able to join the graduation this time are Tristan, myself, Mom, Luke, dad, Brittney, Michael, Diane, and our friends that attended Yale. They limit the tickets to 4 tickets per student but we were able to secure two more. I gave mine to the family because I am a Yale graduate I got mine and Tristan's that way.

Tristan walks up behind me and wraps his arms around my waist. "Wow, baby you are almost sixty and still hot as hell. I am one lucky man, I have a beautiful wife, and three gorgeous kids. We did really good with them."

"Yes, you are and yes we did really well with our kids. I am also a lucky woman because look at this sexy specimen that I am married to. Sexy and hot. How did I ever get so lucky? I definitely hit the jackpot in this lifetime."

He leaned and kissed her, "we better hit the road or we won't make it for the graduation. We will finish this later once we return from Yale. I love you, Mare you have made me a very happy man."

"Yes, we will baby. I love you too bible boy and you have made me a very happy woman. Let's go watch our son graduate college."

They walked out holding hands. Tristan opened her door and helped her into the truck. He made his way to the driver's seat and they headed toward Yale. Rory was playing with memories of their kids as they grew up. Michael for the first three years and how he used to laugh and play with her and Tristan. She busted out laughing.
