2 years later:

So, Today Brayden and Em graduate from Yale. They will be named the Heir and Heiress for the family company they are taking over. Michael was named the Heir of Hayden law firm the summer after he graduated.

Rory and I are now free and clear from any and all business-related stuff to any of the family businesses unless one of the kids needs help. We have just been enjoying our life in our huge empty home.

We have traveled all over the world and we still see the kids for Sunday night dinners unless we are out of the country.

Our family dinners have grown to include each of the kid's significant others. Michael and his Fiancée Deena are planning to get married in three months.

Emmy and Alex are now engaged as of this past Christmas. He came to us the month before and ask for her hand in marriage. He took us out to dinner and was really nervous. I think he knew how hard Tristan was going to take this. Even tho he is the only one Emmy has ever been with so for me that is great news.

Brayden is planning on proposing to Adrianna next weekend. He asked for permission to take her to the Martha Vineyard home and of course, he spoke to Tris about it just like Michael did. So we are all really excited for them to all be engaged and soon to be married.

Michael has just finished his first and second years at Yale Law. He did both years in one and graduated last summer. He has spent the last three months interning at our law office.

We have bought and furnished him and Deena a four-bedroom home over three thousand square feet home in Hartford. They will move in after they are married. Her mom Christina and I  have completely decorated the home with both of their likes.

Michael has an office and a man cave downstairs. Deena has a sewing and reading room upstairs in the attic area. We didn't buy the dishes and appliances as we are waiting to see what they receive at her shower next month. The house came furnished with a double oven, a six-burner stovetop, a microwave, a dishwasher, a washer, and a dryer.

The home is a newly constructed home and they will be the first to ever live there.  We figured while they are on their honeymoon we can move all their stuff in from the condo.

I can't believe my babies are graduating and soon both will be engaged. Emmy's wedding is scheduled for next July. We rented the rose room which is the same place Rory's grandparents renewed their wedding.

I'm sure Brayden's wedding will be the following year. They took over for Lorelai and Luke last summer in their businesses. Luke passed away a few months after that so it was rough for her mom but she is getting better. She comes and stays with us sometimes for a few weeks here and there. She is seventy-five now and struggling to get around and her eyesight is very bad now.

All three of the kids go and spend the weekends with her when she is home they rotate so she always has someone there on the weekends. They stay the entire weekend with her once class lets out them and their significant other head to Stars Hollow until Sunday night dinner. They bring Lorelai with them and then take her back home. Then return to the condo for classes the next day.

They are really good with their grandma Lola they go several times a week and visit my parents and stay with them on holidays. Dad had a heart attack last year so they rarely leave the house anymore. They are both eighty-one and their health has declined drastically in the last five years.

Rory walks into the room and hugs her husband. "How are we going to get through this day? My babies are graduating college and in three months our oldest is getting married. Where did the time go, Tristan? I swear it doesn't seem like they can be this old."

"We will get through it as we have everything with the kids together. I love you Ror and I am going to be there to support you just like the day I walk my baby girl down that Aisle I will need your support."

"I love you too, Tris. We have made it to almost sixty years old, still married, still in love, we got them all through college without any pregnancies, and soon we will be grandparents."

"Alright, let's head to Yale to watch the twins graduate." They walked out hand in hand. They got in the vehicle. They drove to Hartford first to pick up Michael and Diane then drove to Stars Hollow to pick up Lorelai."

All three kids were standing in the parking lot waiting on us to get there so they could help their grandma's and grandpa to their seats.

Once the graduation was over we headed to their graduation party we rented a room down near the river. We stayed until after dinner and then told the kids we were going to head home. We decided to take them all home with us for the weekend.

We got to our house and helped them all out. We took them to the rooms they used when they stayed with us.

Both of us were getting concerned for our parents they were all getting old and having trouble getting around. We had tried to talk Lorelai into moving in with us but she refuses to leave her home. Samantha a new server comes and picks her up every day to eat at the diner she sits there and drinks her coffee.

April went off to college and never came back to see Luke. She moved to Africa and was doing some kind of study. She got married and had two kids. She didn't even come to Luke's funeral.

The guys are all doing really good they all got married even Logan got married to some blonde bimbo he met last year and he got her pregnant. So that child won't be very old when he passes away I mean he is sixty-two.

Honor's son was named the Heir for HPG when he graduated from Yale. Logan was happy to turn it over. The lawyers have been reviewing Mitchum's contract to allow Honor's firstborn son to become Heir just in case he slipped something in a special circumstance that if Logan ever had a son which is what they are expecting next month.

The funny thing is her son already has kids so instead of it passing to his son it will pass to Logan's son and continue on like that. The other guys never had any children so their families made other arrangements for their sibling's children. None of them like his wife but they tolerate her.

Well, they made it through the day and supported each other. We both had a hard day because it was daddy's baby girl and mommy's baby boy that graduated.

The following weekend:

Brayden was so nervous and once he knelt down and proposed she said yes immediately. He picked her up and kissed her. "We have to call my parents and yours. I know my mom and dad are waiting on us and probably with glasses of champagne waiting to hear from us."

"Actually my mom and dad are at your parent's house. They told me they were all getting together this weekend with their LDB group. I am going to guess they just all wanted to be together for the news. It is pretty neat that our moms knew each other in college."

"Oh, okay I am guessing you are right dear and yes it is neat. Alright well, let's call them and tell them the great news. I am so happy you said yes because Adrianna I love you with all my heart. Then we can spend the rest of the night in the bedroom." He leaned over and kissed her then dialed his mom's number.

"Hey, there my handsome son. So, did you propose?"

"Hey, mom and yes I did." Adrianna came on and they both said in unison, "she said yes. We are engaged."

"Congratulations to both of you. Now grab each of you a glass of champagne and hold them up. She said everyone is here and we had our glasses waiting on your call. I want to wish you both a lifetime of happiness just as your father and I have had, as well as your mom and dad Adrianna. Welcome to our family altho you have pretty much been a part of it since you first started dating. Now you will officially become a Dugray and I can't wait. We will discuss wedding plans once you return. We all love you and we will see you next Sunday at dinner." They all cheered and drank.

"Thanks and we both love all of you too." He hung up and leaned over and kissed her.

Rory thought to herself next up Michael and Deena's wedding. She laid her head on Tristan's shoulder and he hugged her.
