The Twins are now two and Michael is five and in Kindergarten at Chilton Primary. Tristan has been in the office in downtown Hartford for about six months.

Michael has a ton of friends already and has been doing really well in school. He is about to be six and The twins will be three this year.

Rory is writing a third book and life is back to normal finally since the pandemic hit almost three years ago.

Tristen came home early and walked into the house. "Honey, I'm home."

"I'm in the office baby." He walked to the office and stood at the door admiring his wife. She was sitting behind the computer, her glasses on top of her head, and her hair bunched up from the glasses.

"Hello, sexy lady." He walked around the desk and kissed her.

"Hey, handsome. You are home early today."

"Yes, I am my dear. I had a short day and figured I would come home and then pick Michael up from school and maybe take all the kids to the park. I just figured you would enjoy a break and time to yourself for a couple of hours."

"That would be nice but the twins have been really good all day. They have been playing in their rooms most of the day. I have monitors in each room so I can hear them. I am just finishing this chapter and we can all go and maybe even go for ice cream after we leave the park. I mean if you don't mind me joining you and the kids."

"No, of course not baby. We would all love for you to join us for the park and for ice cream. Besides, the two boys are mama's boys anyway. The entire time Michael and Brayden would be wanting their mom. Thankfully Emmy is a daddy's girl."

"I know she is glued to you from the time you come home. All day long when is daddy coming home is all I hear."

Just then they heard footsteps running down the steps. "Daddy's home, Bray daddy's home." She ran straight into Tristen's arms as he knelt down to meet her.

"Hi, my sweet baby girl. I'm glad someone is excited to see daddy." He kissed her on the cheek and hugged her.

"Hey, dad. Mommy, can I sit in your lap?" He hugged Tristen's leg and walked over to his mother.

"You sure can son. Aren't you happy to see daddy?"

"Yeah, I hugged him and said hi. I just miss you. Mommy, are you almost finished working today?"

"I am almost finished baby and daddy was planning on taking you, bubba, and sissy to the park and for ice cream. Doesn't that sound fun?"

"Yes, are you coming to mommy? I want you to come with us, please."

"You know what kiddo? Mommy thinks you, sissy, and bubba need to spend some time with daddy. Mommy is going to stay home and take a nice bath. I will cook dinner and have it ready by the time you all get home."

Tristen stood there looking confused. Rory shook her head no as she held Brayden. He held his arms out to Brayden.

"Come on buddy let's go change into your play clothes and then we will get ready to go pick up bubba."

Brayden reluctantly climbed out of his mother's lap and walked over to his dad and climbed into his arms.

Rory followed her husband and kids upstairs. She went into Emmy's room to help her change while Tristen took Brayden to his room.

"Alright kiddos go downstairs, daddy will be down in just a minute, and then we will head out to have fun." Both kids walked downstairs and sat on the couch.

"Why did you decide not to go? I thought we were all going as a family."

"I decided you needed time alone with all the kids. When Brayden walked in and hugged you and then came over and sat in my lap that kinda worried me. I want all the kids to enjoy time with you."
