Two weeks later: Tristan's POV:
He hears Rory jump up and run to the restroom and he follows her. She is having a really hard time during this pregnancy he thinks to himself.
He grabs her a wet washcloth and holds her hair. She has barely been able to keep anything down she drinks ginger tea about four times a day and eats a lot of saltine crackers.
He looks at his wife as she leans back against the tub. She looks really pale and has lost weight. She looks very pale.
"Baby, I think we need to call and schedule an appointment with Dr. Adams. I am getting really worried about you."
"I am just having a lot of morning sickness with this baby. Hopefully, it will pass soon. I am out of my first trimester I don't know why I am still so sick. Maybe we should schedule an appointment just to make sure everything is okay with the baby."
Tristan held his hand out and helped her off the floor. They walked downstairs after she brushed her teeth and he made her some ginger tea and gave her some saltines. He also poured her a glass of orange juice.
She only had a few weeks of morning sickness with Michael and it only happened once a day with this baby she was getting sick multiple times a day and can't hold anything other than tea, orange juice, and crackers.
He called the doctor's office and scheduled her an appointment for the following week. He stood behind her and rubbed her shoulders.
"I am so sorry baby. I hate that you are so sick I wish there was something I could do to make it go away."
"It's not your fault Tris, Me too but there is nothing we can do. We will go into Dr. Adams and hopefully, he can give me something or do something to make this go away."
Just then they heard Michael on the baby monitor. "Mama, daddy. I hungry." They both smiled as they heard their son talking.
"I will be right back, I need to go get our little man up." He kissed her on the cheek and went upstairs.
She sat there drinking her tea and smiled as she listened to the conversation between Michael and Tristan. She knew that no matter what she would be so happy when she finally got to hold their baby and all this would be worth the love she would receive from their kids.
Tristan brought Michael down to the kitchen who smiled a big smile when he saw his mother sitting there.
"Hey, there little man. How is mommy's big boy doing this morning?"
"I good mommy. I happy to see you and daddy. I love you, mommy."
"I am happy to see you too bud and I love you so much." She gave him a kiss on the cheek as she put him in his high chair.
Tristan smiled as he prepared breakfast for himself and Michael. He also fixed Rory another cup of tea. He loved watching his wife and son nothing made him happier than seeing the love and bond between them.
He sat down and gave Michael his food. He handed Rory her cup of tea. They sat there eating and laughing as a family.
One week later:
Rory was sitting on the couch and stood up to take Michael to his crib because he had fallen asleep while watching Backyardigans. When she stood up she had a sharp pain in her stomach she screamed out.
"Tristan, I need you now."
Tristan came running out of the office. She had fallen on her knees. He rushed over and grabbed their son. He laid him down on the couch.
Rory was crying, "Tristan it hurts so bad. Call someone and have them come stay with Michael I think we need to go to the hospital."
Tristan pulled his phone out he called Finn who lived right down the road from them.
