chapter 74: Epilogue

Eight years later:

The years have flown by and our family has grown to include ten or almost ten grandkids. We have one on the way in about four months. Tristan and I are still doing great. 

We lost his dad almost six years ago about six months after Brayden and Adrianna's first son was born. Diane passed away in her sleep three months later. We lost mom two years ago and dad passed away six months ago.

Finn lost his wife Julia to cancer three years ago and Colin's wife Becca has been in and out of the hospital with a lot of health problems. Claire and Robert are still going strong and Logan's wife left him four years ago for a man her own age. 

Lane has moved in with us she has been here about two years. Paris passed away last month from a massive heart attack while at her clinic. Yes, she worked until the day she died. So our group has grown smaller because of deaths but I am thankful for every day that I wake up and see Tristan smiling at me. 

That means we have another day together. I love my husband so much we are now seventy-two and the guys are seventy-five and seventy-six. We know the years will get harder as we lose our lifelong friends that have become family. We just take it one day at a time so that we can cherish each moment and day with each other. Enough about us let me tell you about our kids.

Michael and Deena have now been married for almost eleven years. They have three beautiful kids Bryson is now ten years old and he is in fourth grade and just as smart as his dad.

Angelica Leigh was our first granddaughter she was born two years after Liam. She is now Eight years old and looks just like a perfect mix of her mom and dad. She has dark blonde curly hair and such beautiful green eyes. She is a little princess and she loves coming over to Nana and Papa T's. She loves her uncle Colin very much, he is her favorite of the guys. 

Kristen May was their last and final child she was born two years after Angelica, so she is six years old and she looks like her dad and papa to me. She loves to play dress up and will also play in the dirt with the boys. She also loves spending time with us. All of our grandkids get so excited when they get to come over and hang out with us. Yes, we are the cool grandparents.

Emmy and Alex have now been married for almost ten years. She found out she was pregnant when Bryson was born and her son Liam was only a month old at Brayden and Adrianna's wedding. They now have three kids and one more on the way. Em has said this will be their last child so once Emmy has the last one there will be no more grandkids. Deena and Adrianna have already tied their tubes.

Liam is now Nine years old and he is in third grade. He loves sports and plays baseball since he could stand he started T-ball at two years and just kept advancing. I think he is going to be a baseball star. He has dark hair now and blue eyes just like his mommy, nana, and nana Lola.

Their next son was born five years after Liam, his name is Lucas Tristan he just turned five in February. He is a firecracker so funny and loves playing with uncle Finn. He has blonde hair and blue eyes. 

Their third child was our fourth granddaughter her name is Lorelai Isobel and we call her Izzy. She looks just like her mommy and me. I love when I see features of me and Tristan in the grandkids. She is just ten months old and she has dark brown hair and blue eyes. So needless to say Tristan loves her to death because he says she looks just like my beautiful wife and daughter. 

Em is pregnant now with her fourth child it is also a girl and they are going to name her Bella Elizabeth. She is due in four months around July.

Brayden and Adrianna have been married for almost eight years next month. They have three children now.
