Tristan's POV:

Rory said yes to looking for our new home and so I got on the phone with a realtor and we went straight to Hartford to start our search. We were both so excited about our future.

We arrived in Hartford and drove to a few of the addresses and they were big and nice just not what we were looking for. There were a couple of mansions and I could tell Rory didn't want a house that big. I found one that was really nice, it had plenty of bedrooms and square footage. It even had a three-car garage. Almost five thousand square feet, two offices, a study, a rec room, a tavern in the basement, seven bedrooms, nine bathrooms, three dining areas, three living room areas, and a wine cellar.

We pulled up and Mare's face lit up. She liked it so far. They walked up to the door and entered the code the realtor had sent him.

He unlocked the lockbox and unlocked the door. Ror fell in love with the entrance it was all hardwood and looked rustic. The staircase had a hardwood railing,  the sides were hardwood, and had carpet down the center.

The carpeting was all light-colored so they decided to remove their shoes before walking through the house.

The first floor had a formal living room, a study, a kitchen with a built-in breakfast nook, a bar area with seating, a formal dining room, a small area with a dining table and six chairs, a bathroom, the laundry area, and another living room for the tv with built-in media shelves.

The second floor had the master bedroom with a huge walk-in closet, an ensuite bathroom, three bedrooms,  three bathrooms, and a loft area for reading.

The third floor had three bedrooms, three more bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a laundry area.

The lower level or basement area had a rec room, two office areas, a rec room, a tavern area with a built-in bar, and a wine cellar.

Tristan just walked around with Rory holding her hand watching her face light up. He knew she loved it. It was a huge home but looked like a rustic, updated, barn house. It had a huge yard for toys for the kids and for barbeques.

"What do you think baby?"

"I love it, Tris. I really do. It's huge but not mansion huge and looks so rustic."

"Alright, baby I will call the realtor and have her meet us."

He sent her a text and ask her if she could meet them with the papers they had made a decision.

About ten minutes later the realtor arrived she introduced herself. They spoke for a couple of minutes and Tristan gave her the offer.

"If we can get the closing done in no less than thirty days we would love to start preparing for the move."

"I will need access to the property so that we can order the furniture this is a huge house with a lot of rooms and we need to ensure we are able to order the right furniture."

"Yea, let me call the owners and discuss the offer and your conditions and see what we can do. Give me just a couple of minutes. They have already moved the house stager will come to collect the furniture and I don't see an issue with any of your requests."

She walked off on her phone and Rory and I stood there discussing everything. She snapped some pictures to figure out the furniture she wanted to purchase.

"Mr. and Mrs. Dugray, the owners accepted your offer and said they can have the furniture moved within two weeks and we can place the closing three weeks from now. All I need is to collect some information. Will you be financing the home if so have you already been preapproved?"
