We found out that we were expecting last week. We had already made plans to meet with Robert, Colin, and Finn. we have been texting since the New Hampshire trip.

He told me Logan actually went through with the wedding and how much of a bitch his wife Odette was. How she ruined the bachelor party.

Tristan is excited and nervous to meet Logan's friends. He is afraid they won't like him because he isn't Logan even tho I have tried to explain to him they didn't approve of how Logan treated me. They will like you.

They arrived at the bar and Rory spotted Finn standing at the bar ordering drinks. She snuck up behind him.

"Why you handsome Aussie. I should take you home with me tonight."

Finn smiled and turned around and said, "love you know we can always arrange that." He held his hand out and she took it. He had her turn around. "You my darling are way too good for a man like me. You are beautiful. You look, ravishing mother." He kissed both of her cheeks and gave her a big hug.

He then placed his hand out and said, I am Finn it's nice to finally meet you."

"Tristan and you as well." They shook hands.

"What can I get you both to drink?"

"I want a club soda, please. Tris, you want a beer or scotch?"

"I will Um take a scotch, please," Tristan responded.

"We will just take the entire bottle bartender with four glasses and a club soda, please."

They all walked to the table and the other guys jumped up to hug Rory.

Colin was first, "mother, happy looks good on you. How have you been? Logan is still a dumbass. He married that stupid twat. I am so happy your goodbye wasn't really goodbye for us. You know we all love you. Who is your new man?"

"Colin McCrae it's nice to meet you." They shook hands.

"Tristan Dugray. It is a pleasure to meet you as well."

Robert was already spinning Rory around in a hug. "Mother you look beautiful as always. We really have missed you. You look like you are glowing and I can only assume the gentleman with you is to thank for that."

"It's nice to meet you. I am Robert."

"Nice to meet you as well I'm Tristan."

They all took their seats. Finn sat down, Rory sat beside Finn, and then Tristan sat down at the end of the circular booth. Robert and Colin sat down with Robert and Finn sitting beside each other.

"So, Mare, they all call you mother. Why?"

"Yes, that is their nickname for me. Finn also calls me love or darling. Remember when I told you the story of when we were in college I always made sure everyone made it home safely. I took care of them when we went out and they started calling me mother. Seems I have a bunch of nicknames."

"Mare, where does that come from?" Robert asked.

"You want to explain that one Bible Boy."

Tristan looked down and then smiled. So, we attended Chilton together and on her first day, she looked like a good girl. So I called her Mary as in the Virgin Mary. She was so shy. So that nickname has just stuck. I call her Mare or Mary. As you can tell her response was Bible Boy for me."

"Or Spawn of Satan." They all laughed.

"So, mother you really look happy. Is he good to you? Does he treat you right?" Colin asked.

"Yes, he does. He is really good to me and he makes me really happy. Honestly, happier than I ever was with Logan. By the way, we have some news."

All the guys smile at her words. "Okay love out with the news," Finn said as he smiled.

"We are expecting a baby. We aren't sure how far along yet. We have an appointment next week."

"Congratulations, love," Finn said as he hugged her. "Now you really will be a mother. Congrats Tristan" He shook his hand.

Robert and Colin both shouted with joy. "We are going to be Uncles. We are so excited. Once you find out your due date and what you are having we are throwing you a party." Colin said. "I may even buy a baby store for you."

Tristan looked at Rory funny. "Colin likes to buy things especially when he is drunk. What have you bought recently Colin?"

"I haven't bought anything extravagant since the Bed and Breakfast and that Tango club, when we went to New Hampshire."

They talked and Rory danced with Tristan and all the guys until she was tired. He had spoken to all the guys about his plan and they gave him their permission but also gave him the, "we will hunt you to the ends of the earth and bury you where you will never be found speech. You hurt her we end you and we have the means to do it." Finn stated.

They all headed home at one am. Rory was so tired when they got home. Tristan carried her to their room. He helped her undress and grabbed his shirt for her. She laid down and passed out right after Tristan laid down and held her in his arms. He kissed her and he heard her breathing change to a slow steady pace. She was fast asleep.

Tristan lay there and thought up his plans. He knew where he wanted to propose but he knew she wouldn't leave her family for the holidays. He decided that on the last day of school, they would leave and return on Christmas Eve.

That gave him twelve days for them to enjoy some time alone. He had two weeks to make the arrangements. Luckily Lorelai, Luke, Chris, and Emily were thrilled when he had spoken to them about wanting to propose and they all gave him their blessing.

He told them he had bought the ring two weeks before she told him she was pregnant. He couldn't wait to propose and plan the wedding hopefully before their baby was born.

He lay there for a few hours thinking about where he wanted to propose. He couldn't wait to get on the computer and plan their trip.

He loved Rory and she was going to be the mother of his child and he couldn't be happier about that. He knew from the moment he first realized he had found his Mary that he wanted to marry her. He had planned to wait a little longer but since they were now expecting there was no reason to wait.

What if she doesn't want to marry me? I will die if she says no. She said no to Logan who she had been with for almost three years we have only been together for three months.

Then again we are expecting a baby and they weren't. I don't want her to feel pressured but she told me she was all in. I was the one she saw a future with not him. She wanted the house, the kids, and the marriage.

No matter what I am going to propose and then if she says no or not right now then I will just tell her that she can let me know when she is ready to get married. I just think it would be better to get married before the baby is born or before she really starts showing.

We have her heiress announcement next month and her grandma Emily and Francine are both going to expect a big wedding but I know Mare and she is going to want a small wedding. So maybe I can talk her grandmas into a small wedding and then they can throw a reception for their friends and society. Maybe we can even do it when they announce the heiress. Everyone will pretty much be there anyway.

I finally drift off to sleep and dream of our baby, our wedding, our wedding, and our family. I can see our kids playing in the yard while Rory and I sit on the porch holding hands. I see our wedding rings and I am happy, we are happy. This is what I want.
