6 weeks later:

So we got Michael's new room finished. He picked the biggest room on the second floor. We got white noise-canceling platforms and nailed them all into the wall. We then went with a sports and adventure theme.

He had a small recliner with a small loveseat and three tables. He had a reading area with all his books set up on a bookshelf. He had a tv area with a tv and mounted so it wouldn't fall. He had a music area with his radio and CDs that Aunt Lane had bought him over the years and then on the wall closest to his bed we installed a rock climbing wall with a safety mat and harness and he couldn't climb unless myself or his dad was with him.

He has been at his Lolo's all week while we got it finished or the guys got it finished because I didn't do anything. Each area had special artwork by it the reading area had famous quotes and the music had songs and musical notes floating around. They were so excited to see his face when he got home.

The guys were coming over to see his reaction since they had put many hours into getting it ready. We were cooking dinner to serve everyone after Michael saw his new room. Luke and mom were going to join us for dinner.

I began thinking about when Tristan and I became a couple. I remember our first kiss well our first kiss as adults.

(Flashback to almost 4 years ago)

I was sitting on the couch when Tristan came home from class and he said he was happy to see me too when I stupidly admitted that I was waiting on him and had missed him, which was probably the best stupid thing I have ever done.

Because that night was the beginning of our relationship. We cooked spaghetti with garlic bread and a salad. Well, he cooked I just helped.

He leaned over and kissed me and I swear I felt the earth move. The kiss was filled with so much love and passion. It was that kiss that made me know I wanted this life and I wanted it with him for the rest of my life.

We ate dinner by candlelight and he was such a gentleman. He walked me to my room, kissed me good night, and went to his room. At that point, I knew he was serious about us and this relationship. That was the night we became a couple and it was the happiest day of my life.

"What are you smiling about over here?" Tristan walked over and kissed me. He wrapped his arms around my ever-growing waist.

"I was just thinking back to our first night as a couple. The night you told me how you really felt and that you were willing to wait until I was ready. Then we kissed and the rest is history we have been together and happy ever since that night. I love you, Tristan. Thank you for loving me and always making me feel special."

"Oh, my Mary if you only knew. You are special and it should be me thanking you for loving me and for giving me another chance. I have always loved you, you my love have been the only girl to ever hear those words from me. You will always be the only woman to ever hear those words because you are the only one for me."

"Tristan, my wonderful husband, the love of my life. We don't know what the future holds and if something were to happen to me and I pass away. I would expect you to grieve and then move on."

"Not going to happen ever. Rory, you are the only woman I have loved and if you were to die young or old I would never move on. You are not the only woman I have ever slept with but you are the only woman I have ever loved. I vowed to be with you until death does us part and as long as I remain here that stands true."

"Well, if I died those vows would end because death did us part. Tristan, I would want you to find someone nice and lovely. Someone to show you that you and our children are loved for the rest of the time you are here."
