(August 15, 2020)

We have been under quarantine for the last five months due to the Coronavirus pandemic and we feel like we are all struggling just to survive. I purchased one hundred tests so we can test anyone coming over even the guys.

Mom's Inn hasn't been busy at all. Luke hasn't had any business for the last three months but take out orders. Luke had to lay Cesar off and mom, Sookie, and Michele are the only people working at the Inn.

None of the guys have been able to leave the country or do anything. We have all just settled and they have all been staying here for the last three months. Tristan isn't able to go to my appointments with me anymore.

He drives me but he has to stay in the car. This is a really stressful time. We keep thermometers here and test anyone and everyone who comes into our house. So far we have all been lucky and none of us have contracted the virus.

Everyone must wear a mask and sanitize while they are here. Except for the guys because they have only been here or at Finn's house. No restaurants are open for dine-in everything is take-out or delivery.

We wear gloves to get the food and transfer them into our own dishes then discard the containers and sanitize the area. We are all feeling the effects of this virus and how we all depended on people and things to survive.

Tristan and I use to eat out after my appointments. We haven't been able to do that since it hit our area in the middle of May. People are dying from a stupid virus. I am struggling to get through the rest of this pregnancy alone.

Dr. Adams said they would allow only one person in the delivery room and at the hospital so when Brayden is born no one will be allowed to visit. That is the hardest part is no one is able to help us welcome Brayden.

Luckily the hospital he will be born in hasn't received any covid patients they have all been directed to Hartford Hospital and we are delivering Brayden at St. Francis hospital instead so we are sure to avoid any chance of covid exposure.

We are having a baby shower but we can't invite anybody other than Finn, Colin, Robert, Logan, Mom, Luke, Sookie, Michele, Grandma Emily, Grandma Francine, dad, Michael, and Diane after they test negative.

We have asked anyone wanting to send us presents to order them from the distributor or retail store and have them delivered. Once they are received Tristan sprays everything and we wear gloves. All new items go through a Lysol spray then sanitized and all clothes get washed immediately.

Michael's Birthday party was done the exact same way. All his presents were cleaned before they were used he had to wear gloves and a mask to open them and then he got a bath.

So, as usual, Sookie is catering and making the cake. Mom ordered two thrones for me and Tris and made balloons to make it look nice even tho it's just us. Robert is going to video the entire party so everyone can watch us open the presents. It's just not the same and I am struggling with depression during this stupid pandemic.
